New user: painfully hard

Postby Ryanryanryan » Thu Jul 17, 2025 11:22 am

Hi guys, I did my first shot of triple mix last night and it worked really well. However it seems like my erection was painfully hard. Do you think this is because I have had poor quality erections for years and this is the first railroad spike I have had in a while? I’m just using 0.2 ml but wondered if anyone ever uses less than they are prescribed like 0.15 ML? And also seem like I still had a semi chub after three hours and I was ready to go to sleep. I did a little jogging in place and put a cold pack between my legs and that seemed to help some, but I am wondering about just going ahead and getting some Sudafed PE and taking it once I’m done with business. I’ve sent this same information to my nurse practitioner so I’m not just willing knowing you guys but I wanted to get your take.

Yes, reduce your dose. Your doctor should have told you to start with a very small dose and titrate up every third day to an acceptable erection.

Sudafed is ok, but the best antidote is phenylephrine. At Walgreens it's Wal-Phed PE 10mg tablets. Guys usually take 100-120mg. This works slowly because it takes a while to get absorbed from your gut into your bloodstream. The doctor can give you injectable phenylephrine, which will work much faster.

You should start at a lower amount and work your way up to a dose that works best for you every one is different i use 15 - 20 units of 30-1-25 i have used 25 units and it does cause some pain at that dose i stay rock hard about an hour to a hour and a half then a chubby for the next 3 hours doctor said as long as its not rock hard I'm ok and its slowly going down even when i a refill i start low and work back up to make sure it's working the same they can also adjust the mix to stop the pain i have been using trimix for 5 years it works great

Yes, start lower and be patient working your way up.

Terminology concerning pseudoephedrine (Sudafed) and phenylephrine is confusing. There are two oral variants and one injectable; they are totally different.

Pseudoephedrine, branded as Sudafed, WITH NO QUALIFIER SUCH AS"PE", is the oral agent that helps with priapism. I typically see it dosed in 30mg pills and I take 4 (120mg) if I'm getting close to 4 hours erect. It's restricted but available from most pharmacies upon request (and ID). You want the quick-acting, not timed release.

Oral phenylephrine, branded as "Sudafed PE" is a worthless decongestant that entered the market when real pseudoephedrine became restricted. It does nothing for priapism and, recently, the FDA even said it was ineffective as a decongestant.

Injectable phenylephrine - this is the real stuff that is the top tier antidote for priapism. You need to get it from a compounding pharmacy, almost always with a prescription. Some docs won't prescribe it and some docs, like both my uros, consider it malpractice to send you home with Tri-Mix and no injectable phenylephrine.
