Process for taking bimix on a plane?

Postby PrimeTime21 » Mon Jun 02, 2025 10:20 pm

Hi guys im going on a short domestic flight with my ladyfriend in a couple weeks and im wondering what the process is for taking injectable bimix on the plane? I'd rather not have an embarrassing moment in the airport. I have my syringes preloaded and ready to go. Is it better to carry on or check my bag? Tips to make this a smooth trip? Anything I should know in advance? Thank you.

I traveled with shots a lot. I usually had them in my carry on. I was more worried about out lost luggage meaning no erections than I was about being bothered by the TSA. I never got asked what they were for. I had a copy of my prescription in the bag with the syringes.

I was prepared to say “it’s prescription medication. The prescription is right there.” But no one ever asked.

And I can’t imagine them asking anything more specific than that.

Goodwood, did the airport security ever stop and question you about the injection meds in your carry on when going through the security scanner? Also did you travel with with the vial or preloaded syringes?

I never got stopped once. Never got questioned about it.
Either they didn’t see them on the scanner. Or they saw them on the scanner and didn’t perceive it as a security threat.

People travel with injection medication all the time so it might not raise the red flags we think it would.

If I was going on a short trip I often just brought one or two prefilled syringes. If I was going for a week or two I brought the vial and unfilled syringes.

A copy of my written prescription lived in my toiletries kit. I had it there in case someone asked what the medication was.

No one ever did.

I plan to go on a flight soon so this is good to know. I'll get a copy of my prescription just in case. Thanks!
