New to Trimix, not working...

Hello, i am on my first try/round of Trimix. I have steadily increased from 10 units up to 46 and don't get hard enough for penetration, and it only lasts about 10-15 minutes. I have two questions. Has anyone mixed in Viagra or Cialis while injecting to improve erections? Also, I have been using a VED before injecting. I hear it helps with misses. I have that blood in my penis when I inject, and the blood leaves for a bit after I inject. Would the Trimix leave my penis with the blood? So maybe I'm not getting all the Trimix? I know I should probably ask my doctor, but wondered if anyone has had similar experiences here. Thanks

Hi Puzzled. I injected for nearly 10 years.
I definitely found that viagra and cialis gave my shots a boost. I did both. For a while I took a 20mg sildinafil (Viagra) tablet an hour before. The last couple years of injections I was on daily cialis. First 2.5mg, then 5mg, and finally 10mg a day. It definitely helped.
The other thing that helped my shots work much better was to wear a decent cockring. I found a stretchy silicone cockring under/behind the balls and over the base of the cock helped a ton. I bought a couple from a good quality sex shop. Tried them out and saw what worked best.
ED’s most common cause is venous leak. Blood not getting trapped in the penis effectively. A cockring can help do that.
You might also need a significantly strong mix. Work with your urologist to get a stronger prescription next time. But I wouldn’t throw this one out. I would just keep going up on the dose volume while you experiment.

I use what I think is a fairly low mix (1¼ units of 30/3/20). I take a daily 10 mg Cialis so I have a consistent baseline of PDE5 for my injections. You might be tempting priapism if you randomly add a PDE5.

How do you even meter and consistently inject such small amounts?

Earlier, I had a thread about diluting the mix. To keep it simple, I reference it by the native concentration of 30/3/20 and native units (1¼), but it's actually diluted 3:1 with bacteriostatic water so I put 5 units in the syringe. Even at 5, it's still hard to get it exact so I have to acknowledge a margin of error.

I have been injecting Trimix for over 15 years, however about 2 years ago I had to move to Quad-mix. By doing that I was able to cut my dose in half. I have been taking 5mgs of Cialis a day for BPH and ED. An hour before I'm planning to have sex, I take 100mgs of Viagra and I've never had an issue. I've been doing this routine for as long as I can remember. The erections I get are hard enough for penetration and last approximately 45min to an hour...which is fine by me. I concur with the other replies to your post regarding working with your urologist on the strength and also wearing a cock ring. Over 5 years ago I thought I would have an implant by now until I read about the success of wearing a cock ring was having for guys. It was a game changer I must admit. You'll have to experiment with it a bit, but once you find your size and one that's comfortable for you and your wife, you should be good to go. Good Luck and keep us posted.

I second this as the probable reason. Got to get it into the CC.

I have received 2 different answers regarding the needle size with injections. I have used 1/4” and 1/2”. The 1/4” has caused damage PD, but my doctor still wants me to use 1/4” under my implant. Makes me nervous. I’ve been taking injections for a year and my penis is 2” + shorter , less girth and PD. I can’t tell you how depressing it is.
