injections and penis rings/pumps

my injections have lost effectiveness--used to get immediate results, now it's inject, then wait 30-45 min for a "usable event". Doctor and compound pharmacist have suggested that I try a ring along with the injecitons, and also a pump. So: apply ring before injection, after injection? suggested sequence of using injection/pump/ring...which is step 1, 2, then 3? any diference between just a penis ring and a penis/sack rings? Is there a difference between rings?
....and yes, I've never tried them before

Here's my injection routine.
After getting the syringe ready.
I go to the bathroom and use the penis pump for a couple of minutes. This fills my penis with blood making for nice chubby.
After using the penis pump. I can both feel and see the blood-filled corpora cavernosium,

I then put on a penis ring on my fat chubby at the base of the penis and use the alcohol wipe to prepare the area for the injection.
I then inset the needle and inject and slowly press the plunger. Making sure there is no resistance.

I remove the needle and apply slight pressure to the injection site for 30 seconds. This is to prevent bleeding and reduce the chance of scarring.

After that gently massage the shaft of the penis for 30 seconds to help distribute the trimix.

Once all of that is finished, I put away the pump, put the cap back on the needle, and clear the area of any evidence of my injection.

Using the pump has significantly reduced any chance of missing the target. It also starts the flow of blood resulting in a quicker erection.
Using cock ring gives a firmer erection and requires using less trimix per injection.
Note this is my experience after having done over 100 Trimix injections.

I am new to injecting as well. I use much the same process as the mentioned methods.
1 Prep the Needle
2 Foreplay
3 Pump in Shower
4 Inject. I like using the hand around the penis and fingers gripping the small needle to steady the process.
4 Basic Cock ring on qickly. But experiement. I have just bought a nice little couples cock ring called 'Thrill'
