To much scar tissue!

Hello all,
I have been injecting bi-mix and tri-mix for at least 9 yrs.
I am 80 yrs old, and have developed scar tissue on both sides of my penis.
I used a 31g needle for my injections, at this point in time, I'm injecting about every 14-16 days.
Now the needle just bends---so I ordered some 29g needles to try, and dang, same problem-now what to do?
I know , I know--would have, should have--lol
I was thinking maybe??? 27g----what do you LONG time injectors think????
thanks Rocky

penile implant is your only option, they can most likely remove the scar tissue but use a dr. that has done lots of implants.

Just a road I'm not willing to go down- (implant) I will just have to use a stronger, bigger gauge--ouch! :D

Are you injecting by hand?

Have you confirmed with the urologist that you have scar tissue?

When you fill the syringe (with Trimix) do you put the orange cap back on before injecting it into the penis?
Edit Note: I do not recommend placing the orange cap back on the syringe until after injecting into the penis. I found that placing the cap over the needle often dulls the needle causing it more difficult to inject and possibly causing scarring.

And putting the orange cap back on can inadvertently bend the needle which you will discover when you uncap it for use. Has happened to me. The 31g needle has bent on me so I increased to the 30g with no subsequent issues.

Rocky: I hope you are using your entire length. I've been injecting once a week for seven years and have no obvious scar tissue. I imagine my length divided into five "zones," and cycle through the zones each time, switching sides each time. So a spot is injected only every ten weeks. I think this spreading out minimizes scar tissue.

Some needles are not properly ground. See my post "All needles are not created equal," 6-1-23. "bldolnk" told me about EasyTouch brand and I've found those to be more consistently sharp than the BD I had been using.

I have been injecting for over 10 years and have had issues from time to time. The last injection I did the needle bent which never happened to me before when doing it by hand. I still got a usable erection too which was odd I thought. The tunica is thick tissue from what I understand and thinner needles can have difficulty for some to penetrate to the corpus.I used to use an auto injector but for the past 2-3 years I've gone without it. How do you know you have scar tissue? Have you been examined?..There are so many variables as to why a needle would bend which as you can see you can read in the comments of your post. Please keep us posted with your change in needles and if you find them better to use. Thanks

Sounds like a sound plan to avoid scarring . Assuming you start 1" from the base, which seems to be the standard recommendation for injection location longitudinally...how far out toward the head do you go?

Hardon: I start 1/2in (13mm) from base and go to the same distance from the head. I used to start right at the base, on a reminder that the penis goes some distance into the body, but that location proved somewhat unreliable.

I find that the short 5/16in (8mm) 31 gauge needles are the most comfortable because I can get them between skin nerve fibers, whereas I cannot do that so well using 30 gauge needles. At some locations I have to push the syringe nose quite far in to reach the corpus. Apparently my corpora are not uniform and parallel like the medical diagrams.
