Duration of Erection

I've tried different quantities of my Trimix prescription, and gotten different erection durations. I guess that makes sense.

I'm curious about how it works. Does anyone know which of the three parts is getting used up fastest? Or is there some hormone which builds up over time to eventually cancel out the trimix? In the later case, how long would it take for that hormone to go back to a normal level? I haven't experimented on refractory periods yet.

It's all working as expected for me. I'm just interested in the chemistry.
