Syringes in the fridge question

Postby MiddleAgedMiami » Fri May 12, 2023 12:07 pm

If I fill up a syringe with trimix and place it in the refrigerator how long will that keep based on your experiences? I drew up a syringe from my frozen trimix vial and put it in the fridge thinking I’d use it that night like 3-4 nights ago. Just wondering if I should toss it and make a new one for tonight or if that one should still be good.

Thanks for any insights!

It should be good for a few months in the fridge, from what I understand. The Trimix I got from Olympia states 3 months in fridge, 1 year in freezer.

Good luck.

I would not use it beyond 12 to 24 hours. In the simple act of drawing up the med, you could cause some contamination. If you let the syringe sit for a long time, those contaminates can multiply in the syringe, maybe to a dangerous level.
I just do not think it would be a safe practice. It is better to use healthy caution.
