Bocox (Botox) - anyone had this done?

Postby Biker22 » Thu May 04, 2023 8:48 am

So I’m about 2.5 months away from implant surgery.

The only aspect I haven’t tried is this Bocox, I can’t find anyone on here or peyronies forum who has had this done.

Several research papers on the above link.

I’m clutching at straws before the final solution but I would love to hear from anyone who has had experience/ thoughts on this.

Thanks.

UK based, 48yrs Old, had ED all my life. PDE5 pill no longer work on their own, Currently on 0.5ml of Invicorp (Aviptadil 36mcg/ 2.85mg Phentolamine). Injections efficacy dropped after Covid infection, took 4-5 months for injections to start working again

I have no experience with Botox, as much as my doc recommends it for migraines. Thinking on it I can't see how it could benefit erections.
Grasping at the final straws is something almost all of us guys do. Implant is a big step. In my case all the herbal drugs I tried were nothing but a waste of money. Pills and injections were a temporary solution, but I used them until there was little or no response and the side effects became worse. But all you can do is try.

Hi Old Guy,

Thanks for reply.

So I've looked through the research papers and the two key markers seem to be:

SHIM
22-25 no ED
17-21 Mild ED
8-16 Moderate
1-7 - Severe

EHS - Erection Hardness Score
4 - Hard and Rigid
3 - Hard but only just enough for penetrative sex
2 - Hard but not enough for sex
1- Larger but no hard
0 - Nothing

So El-Shaer at al (2021) Andrology paper - baseline was SHIM of 8.0 after either 50 or 100units of Botox then had a SHIM of 14.0. So these guys were still in the moderate ED (8-16)

Islam Fathy Soliman (2021) Andrology Paper -
EHS went from avg 2.3 to 2.9 in 54% of men. That only moved them to just possible for penetrative sex
SHIM base is 5.4 (Severe), 2 wks -6.7, 6 wks - 10.0 and 12 wks - 8.3

I think from that it did help guys with severe ED 'a bit' perhaps it would work really well if you had moderate to mild ED?

I currently leaning towards implant as waiting to get an appointment for this would mean another 2 months lost and if Bocox also didnt work it might finish my mental health off. I just dont want to make the wrong decision and regret it.

That said I've chatted on the phone to a guy who's had an implant for 7 years. and someone who did a video show and tell who had one installed a few months ago They are all ok.

Yes, I have had 3 Botox treatments. I noticed better and more frequent erections.

AZmike - I've sent you a PM. I'd be really interested to hear from you about how much it helped.
Thanks

I didn’t know that was a thing. Where would you have that treatment done? So far there is at least one person who says it helps?
Still figuring out my Trimix dose and formula, which has now become Quadmix. The Quadmix is the same as my Trimix formula, but ads Atropine and now is 30MG/1 MG/20MCG/.1MCG/ML.

Look at list of providers.

I’m going for it mid June

Here is one medical study.

This procedure is not a cure for ED but it can improve erection quality.

Well I had this done on Monday. 100 units in each side. It apparently takes 2-6 weeks to see an effect

My skin looks smoother and’maybe’ slightly better flaccid state but nothing else yet.

I have got a horrible cold at moment so really don’t feel my best anyway.

I’ll update you if anything improves.
