Newbie Trimix Questions

Postby Hardonrescue » Wed Mar 29, 2023 11:55 am

Newbie here. Just found this place. Lately I have suffered a decline in my overall sexual performance, both in erectile function and overall sex drive. PDE5’s are starting to lose their effectiveness sadly. :o I’ve done everything out there in an effort to resuscitate things, except going the medical route, to absolutely no avail. I’ve hit a brick wall, it seems, and it’s just probably age, even though I’m in great health otherwise and healthy lifestyle.

Done a lot of RTFF everywhere and seems the next step after pills (besides T injections which I want to avoid), is trimix type injections. A couple questions about trimix usage from a newbie:

For those guys out there with SOs who are retired from sex (and I know there are plenty out there), how do you handle politically on the home front, wishing to extend (NPI) you own sexual shelf life when she’s done and her druthers would be for you to join her out to pasture? I’ll just say it, I want to hide my usage of trimix from my SO. I have a hard won arrangement, and having urologist bills or erection supplies arrive at my doorstep kicks a sleeping dog I wish not to kick. :?

Another question. Seems the overall advice from experienced users with newer partners is the “excuse me gotta go pee” during foreplay to admin the injection. But considering this stuff lasts several hours for most guys wondering why you have to wait til the final minute before PIV occurs. Opportunities permitting, couldn’t you just inject any available time within an hour before you expect to get down to it? I just think interrupting right in the middle of the hot and heavy would be disruptive for me and I would probably feel rushed and screw it up. Are there other reasons you want to delay til the last minute before penetration?

Thanks, and this is a greatly useful resource!

You have to keep trimix refrigerated for storage. I don't know how you could successfully hide it unless you have a beer fridge in the garage that she doesn't get into! :D

Having said that, our days of spontaneous sex passed years ago. We pretty much plan in advance. On the occasions where we look at each other and know it's going to be on I either inject just before we get started or take a break to inject after her first foreplay orgasm. We can return to some foreplay while the injection begins to work its magic then move on to PIV.

I feel very fortunate that my wife still enjoys sex (though not as frequently as we used to :| ). If the day came when she wanted to or, for some other reason we had to, shut it down I'd still be masturbating I'm sure. She's pretty understanding that way (although she was concerned the time I brought home a Fleshlight sleeve for my alone time.

Thanks. I already am prepared for the refrigerator storage thing as I purchased a couple modified beer cans where you can screw off the top and reveal a hidden compartment. I bought that for PT141 when I thought that was going to be my answer, but alas, PT141 turned our to be not so good for me. So not quite as worried about refrig storage. But they are lighter than a regular full beer. I don't think she'd notice the difference tho. However, I've read some users put trimix in the freezer and having a beer can in the freezer may attract attention as even the most non-beer drinking SO knows ya don't put beer in the freezer. So maybe I'll bury it in a loaf of ground beef and chuck it in the freezer lol.  I'll deal with that when/if it ever goes that far.

My main worry is mail. SO gathers mail every day and no way I could get away with urologist bills and trimix packages arriving. I'm healthy and never have had to go to a urologist, ever. So it would attract attention. Guess I could just say something else was wrong with my dick, but of course wish to avoid outright lying.

We had many discussions, arguments and I finally won the ability to find something on the side. She doesn't want to hear anything more about it, ever. Works for me. So keeping it quiet is of paramount importance. Dick supplies coming in the mail is not what I want. I'm not satisfied with just jacking off, though and I can't claim that's all I'm doing considering our past conversations.

I can't send this stuff to work either, too many people see it. Maybe a PO Box is the answer, although not sure Docs office or Trimix providers will do it . Thanks for the reply

Is there any chance that your T level is low? Perhaps you could work in a test the next time you have your blood checked? Gels can be used to supplement T, so it wouldn't necessarily involve injections.

I think trimix is going to be pretty darn tough to hide. Not only does it need to be refrigerated (or frozen to extend the effectiveness), you also have to deal with needles and alcohol wipes. The used needles will need to be disposed of properly, not simply thrown in the trash. Would a VED be an easier option?
60 yo. RALP in June 2019. Tried bimix with limited success. Currently getting good results from trimix.

Well, I’m not as concerned about hiding it once I get my hands on it. Considering my activities are never at home, I’d likely never inject there anyway. I have strategies for hiding it in the fridge at home, and I already have a tiny fridge at work that’s fairly private. Retirement in 2 years would take away that additional privacy of work. Freezing would be more problematic, and I would deal with that when the time arrives. But you are correct, still a worry to hide, and all the worry does take away a lot of the fun.

I should just come clean and admit what I’m doing but approaching what could be an existential discussion/argument for a 30+ year marriage is not an easy task to approach. Especially since I’m currently fairly functional now using only PDE5’s. Just trying to get ahead of my oncoming decline. The only sure things in life are death, taxes and a limp dick. Surely I’m not the only guy in a DB at home who’s facing this situation. “Yes hun, I know you’re not interested any more but I am, and I wish to pursue every possible med or procedure so I can continue to fuck other women long as I can with my medically enabled robo-dick!” Which is really what this is all about.

My next step is to increase PDE5 dosages. Currently I have adhered to the recommend dosages, 50-75mg V, or 10-15mg C (not daily). I’ve read guys’ accounts on boards who take easily double that with no negative consequences of course YMMV on that one. I’m healthy, so I think I can start to increase at least to 100mg V or 20-25mg C and see what happens. But I am aware that the efficacy of pills decreases over time for many men, no matter what.

As far as T, it’s fairly normal for a guy my age. Got tested 2 months ago and it was about 500 ng/dl and free was 62.8 pg/dl. The free test is a bit low, but still within lab standards. My research tells me raising free T is almost impossible outside of getting T treatment. I’ve taken enough supplements go choke a giraffe, and got absolutely nothing out of them. Waste of money. At least for someone my age.

I do have a VED, but I find it only marginally useful. Too cumbersome and doesn't really produce what I consider to be an acceptable erection, at least on me. Guys on VED blogs say that getting a strong boner using a VED is marketing hype, and value of VED is mainly for exercising your dick. That was my experience.

I suppose in the end the easiest thing is I’ll go to a urologist and get a scrip and just go pick up the trimix from a local compounding pharmacy. Which keeps it from arriving on my doorstep where the SO can retrieve it and ask about it. And just splain away the urologist bills in the mail as something else wrong with my dick.

At your age regular Uro visits are expected and normal and recommended for a variety of reasons. Enlarged prostate, frequent urges to urinate, difficulty urinating, digital exams, etc. Explaining Uro visits shouldn't be a problem.

You could try bimix, which doesn’t have to be refrigerated or frozen. It’s much easier to conceal.
58 years old. ED for 12 years. Pills faded and then effectively stopped working about 2 years ago. Started with bimix, but recently switched to traditional trimix: 30 papaverine, 2 phentolamine, 0.2 atropine, and 5 mcg PGE. Usually inject about 10 units.
