Ok. So I’m definitely past the past covid effects and I feel normal again.

I have been using 0.40ml of Invicorp which is slightly more than one ampule.
It has given me 1.5-2hrs the last few times.

25mcg Aviptadil/ 2mg phentoamine (Invicorp) in 0.35ml

This is the first time life (at 48yrs old) that sex has not been humiliating and stressful.

However I can foresee that as this dosage increase and efficacy drop off in such a short period of time, that I’m going to have a problem here.

I’m not even sure you can get Trimix in the UK.

I have no fibrosis or lumps that I can feel. What is the mechanism that this stops these meds working over time. If the meds can get to the blood vessels near the base of your penis and these are not being damaged as you’re injecting half way along you penis then what’s causing the loss of efficacy.
UK based, 48yrs Old, had ED all my life. PDE5 pill no longer work on their own, Currently on 0.5ml of Invicorp (Aviptadil 36mcg/ 2.85mg Phentolamine). Injections efficacy dropped after Covid infection, took 4-5 months for injections to start working again

Many urologists and long time Trimix users will tell you its not the Trimix that's losing its efficacy its your ED just progressing and not actually being treated.

So the last 4 times I've used Invicorp (Bimix) ive been up to 0.5ml which is nearly an ampoule and a half. First three times that was 3 hours, last time it was more like 2 hours.

This is really efficacy is dropping off really quick - Its been a while due the ED but for the last month I'm in a relationship. Its amazing when its working but this efficacy drop is really alarming me.

Anyone in UK obtain TrimiX?

Clearly at this rate I'm be back on the implant route.....

Biker: I've injected Trimix with 100mg sildenafil (generic Viagra) for over three years with no increase in Trimix dose necessary. You might try this combination, but of course experiment solo with a much lower Bimix dose to avoid priapism, and titrate up to what seems to work well.

Maybe Old Guy is right about venous leak if you've had problems since teenage days.

Covid is such a weird virus, I wouldn't discount it even if you feel ok. Studies of "Long Covid" people seem to show that it can attack about every organ in the body, but selectively for different patients. Some have trouble with this organ, some another organ etc., and doctors don't have much to offer yet. My neighbor got Long Covid but has been slowly throwing off the effects, and now thinks he's completely recovered, so there's the possibility that our immune systems will eventually conquer it.

Hi Martin

Funny you should mention Sildenafil, I tried 100mg on Saturday. Didn’t work so then used 0.4ml off Invicorp. I thought I might be overdoing it with that combo. Made zero difference to Invicorp on its own apart from give me completely blocked sinuses and a slight headache.

Covid and ED - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34931145/

I’m back running and feeling well. It’s did take a good 4 weeks to get past the brain fog which was just horrible. I’d go for a walk and kinda forget setting off for the walk. Very odd. The brain fog going and being able to run again was 2-3weeks ago.

I’d love for that to be the issue and that it will get better with time so I can reduce the Invicorp dose. As right now I’m just getting depressed about how quickly this drop off has occurred. It was all around the time I got covid though?

Hi.
Ok the update is that Invicorp has stopped working.
Two in a row were complete fails.
At 0.6ml of it nothing happened at all, I did feel my face flush (like when taking viagra) so I’m thinking the meds are getting flushed straight out of my penis into my main circulation system.

The second attempt same effect

Tried at home on my own and nothing happened but I had some reaction as the injection site went red like it had an insect bite so I thought I must have messed up with injection site

Found on here some people using a cock ring before injection.
Tried that and it seemed to work a little better.

Just tried yesterday with 0.6ml and very disappointing. Was a semi and only ‘just’ about hard enough for penetration and only then for 30mins. Even with cock ring on really tight I could feel my face flushing so I must have really bad venous leakage and the meds are getting flushed through.

I’ll be honest I’m pretty depressed about this. I’m going to get in touch with Dr Ralph and see what he says. But he’s a surgeon so the answer will be - implant.

I can’t believe it’s stopped working just so quickly. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

Before going to an implant perhaps review 1. Your injection technique, 2. Handling and storage of Bimix and 3. Using a cock ring before and after injection.

Suggesting reviewing those areas you can control before leaving injections.

If the above do not improve your results I suspect venous leakage.

You asked if anyone else had lost injection effectiveness after only months -- I made 8 months with Trimix going from 20 PGE up to 150, which was Quadmix.
Doc concluded venous leakage made me a poor candidate for injections.
You can see by my signature where I wound up and am entirely happy with it.
Just my personal experience fwiw. All the best to you in solving your problem.

Hi thanks for replies
I’m using the cock ring before and after injections. No much difference although it does help it stop flushing out immediately.

I’m in the Uk. So there are only two options for injections - alprostadil (gives me pain and has also stopped working) or Invicorp. There is no bi/tri or quad mix here.

I’m getting so desperate I’m thinking of using alprostadil with Invicorp and mixing it up myself.

Invicorp - aviptadil & phentolamine mesylate
25mcg / 2 mg

I used Trimix for 11 years. A handful of times I got batches that I know for a fact were lacking something and barely worked at all and not for long.

I ended up changing compounding pharmacies a couple times until I found one that was consistent.

When I complained they told me it just wasn't possible for them to make an error mixing it. Well I call BS on that.

Luckily I live in a major metropolitan area where I have choices.
