I use only BD brand syringes as I feel like the needle point is the sharpest and the syringe is the best quality and when it comes to my little guy down there I'm not going to go cheap to save a few bucks. Is there a better brand? I don't know? Curious to see what others have to say about which brands they think are the best.

I have been using Easy Touch 30 gauge 5/16" and have been satisfied with it. I recently tried BD and that found it had more resistance than Easy Touch. So I switched back to Easy Touch.

Regardless of which needle size you use the best way to get it right is aspirate before injecting if you do not see blood in the syringe you are not in the right spot.I use 1/2" 29g up and down pretty much the full length of the shaft. I go in all the way to the hub of the needle then ease it back a little and aspirate if I dont get blood I ease back a fraction more and aspirate again.

I have never had a misfire using this technique.

I fill and freeze trimix syringes, all of them. The brand that works the smoothest after freezing/defrosting IMO is Easy Touch. I like these ones.

Kilsong, I am wondering why you take 5 minutes to fully insert your 1/2" needle? I find pushing the needle in at a fairly rapid, consistant rate gives me the greatest comfort. It seems like it would be torture to push the needle in so slowly. After 5 years of injecting your fear factor should be quite low, have you tried inserting the needle faster?

I use a 32 gauge such as I use for Insulin injections. Hardly feel it. I used 29ga at first and it was at least and inch long and screwed up and put the BiMix into my urethra, had to go urinate which killed the mood. The 29ga hurt like hell but that's what the Dr. seems to like. I just don't buy them and get the smaller needles. Is that a problem?

Not if it works for you.
I didn't realize you could get 32 gauge in 5/16" in regular syringes as opposed to the diabetic pens. I use 5/16 needles but I don't think I could go any shorter. Care to share a link to what you use?

I must have gotten a dull batch of B&D 30 ga 1/2" 0.5 ml (50 unit) because they've given me nothing but trouble. They depress both the outer and cavernosal sheath rather than cleanly puncture it. I've even bend several needles. I've had to drill them in with mixed results. When I go back to a few other leftover ones, even 5/16" 30 ga, and 1/2" 29 ga, I have far less trouble. I've written elsewhere that it's getting more difficult to find an easy spot to get into; it feels like ~400 injections have toughened a lot of areas between veins. No peyronies. I just got a batch of the Easy Touch (30 ga, 1/2") you recommended above and can't wait to try them. The best needles I've injected with so far were about Caverject needles - like a hot knife in butter. I like posting this diagram because it shows there are actually two tough sheathes to penetrate. The outer seems easier than the inner one (cavernosa)

Try a 32 gauge needle at 1/2" and you'll feel alot better. My Urologist gave me 29ga at 1" and I accodentally penetrated to my urethra, that was no fun and I had to urinate immediately. My Diabetes needles are 32ga at 1/2" and I hardly feel them.

Personal preference I guess. I almost always used a 29 ga 1/2” and I injected for over 30 years. If I could find them I would go with a 30 ga. I tried a 31 and found that they tended to bend, too thin.

Seems like I tried a 3/8” once and it didn’t penetrate well enough. I had sort of a fat one.

5/16 x 31 is my go-to size. I have had misses, but what works for me is i push the needle in such that the little part between the needle part and the cylinder of the syringes indents into the shaft of the penis.
