I’m wondering how many of you use Sildenafil with your Tri-Mix injections. The effect of the injections has lessened over time.

I do sometimes. While Sildenafil does nothing for me by itself it does seem to boost the effect of the injection allowing me to inject a little less than what I would otherwise need.

I use 100mg sildenafil with 40% of the Trimix I used to need a year ago. Less pain. Working well so far.

FWIW, this scientific study from 2011 showed a significant benefit from combining Viagra and Trimix. Any comments?

It would seem that some urologists are unaware of this 10-year-old study. Makes me glad that my doc and his ED nurse are up to date with the research!

For me, the whole reason I switched from pills to injections was that the side effects from the pills were too great - headaches, upset stomach, diarrhea... not great things to have on a romantic evening.

Every now and then I try a pill to see if they still have the same side effects, and they do. Only now, the desired effects are weaker too.

I love injections because they put the drug right where it's needed without messing with the rest of your body chemistry. They have other issues - inconvenience, inconsistent results, scarring etc - but the results are much better for me.

Yes, I also take both sometimes. Both give me a solid steel hard erection. I take 15mg of cialis and 15 units of trimix, see strength below. My erection usually lasts 2.5 to 3.0 hours.

slipnslider: Maybe you're allergic to something in sildenafil. Your urologist or GP might give you free samples of tadalafil (Cialis), vardenafil (Levitra), avanafil, udenafil, and whatever I've missed, to try.

My results....
If I take 20mg cialis at nite, the next morning romp, I can reduce my trimix to approx 10 units. My uro said this combo works for several of their patients.

For me, the whole reason I moved to injections was the side effects of pills got too bad, so I'm not interested in boosting my injections by re introducing all those bad side effects.
