Resetting your tolerance cycling between Viagra and injections

Postby Dccarl » Thu Mar 18, 2021 8:55 pm

Has anybody here successfully cycle between pills and injections 6 months on 6 months off and for how long. So my story is I started having Ed when I was 26 from recreational drug use did Viagra for about three years until I build a tolerance to it started injections for about 3 months and then my girlfriend broke up with me. Wanted to do it different this time so I would never build a tolerance and keep a relationship. I went 7 years without any Ed medications and now I'm taking pills for 6 months stopping the pills and doing injections for 6 months so far so good for two years now. Has anybody done this method and how many years has it worked for you.

When you started back on the pills, how good did they work? Did they work as good as when you first started or did they not work as good? Very interesting and I may try that. I'm 40 and very good health but porn fried my brain and pills stopped working. I'm on injections now and they work good. Let me know bro!

From what I've heard the pills do not build a tolerance. If they lose effectiveness over time, it's because your underlying ED is getting worse. So there would be no need to attempt to reset tolerance. Quite the opposite actually, since some studies have shown that regular PDE5i pill usage improves penile health.

That's basically what my Urologist told me too. It's not a tolerance issue, it's a weakening prostate/dick health issue.

So taking a break from pills wouldnt really make them work any better.

My urologist did suggest a supplement called Revactin containing L-citrulline and ginger that he said could slow or stop the continue degradation of erections. I'm using it, but can't tell if it's helping me maintain the status quo or not.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

So if that were true over time that you get sicker so the medication is not so effective. But I found that not to be true I took Viagra for 4 years and it stopped working I start taking to get 7 years later and it worked just fine. Although I am finding the Viagra or sildenafil whatever you want to call it not to be as effective as the first time I have taken it. I was going to inject for six months and then take pills for 6 months directions are fine but the pills not so fine barely getting through two months before I have to go back to six months of injecting. I wonder why some of these guys leave post that they've been injecting for 10-12 years maybe it's because they're only injecting once a month. See I found it the more you take the medication the quicker you build a tolerance. So if you wanted to work for years and years and years I would only take it twice a month and learn how to do a lot of other activities and for play with your significant other during the down weeks. If there's any of you that's been ejected over 6 years out there what's your secret how often are you taking it are you taking other medications preventing you from building a tolerance that works side-by-side with the injections.

I don't know the answer to your questions. However, I've been injecting (alprostadil mono-mix) for about 10 years and average 3 times per week. It still works and my dose remains pretty consistent. I have no secret meds that prevent tolerance buildup. I do use rings that enable me to use the minimum amount of juice. If solo I'll use half the normal amount. And that added info may be irrelevant.
