Trimix - venous leak - sexual position issues

Hey all,

I'm new to this and hoping for some advice. I was diagnosed with venous leak a couple years ago. I was prescribed trimix which works better than any pills. The problem I'm having is unless I'm in an upright position, I lose my erection - even on trimix. The wife loves sex while laying down - but as soon as I lay down, the erection goes away. The urologist says this shouldn't happen...but it does. I've seen a couple posts here with people with similar issues. I cannot up the trimix dose since I'm already running a fine line and needing sudafed after sex to prevent a 4 hr erection. Any advice anyone can give is appreciated.

I have a VL also and can't lay out prone either. My wife's favorite position is missionary. Try moving her to corner of bed with knees up or hanging over the edge of bed, you standing at the corner, prop a pillow under her butt, with a towel on it and it should be better.hope this helps.

Interesting, for me (vl) it s the other way round.

I cannot keep an erection standing or on my knees.

I'd be leery of that Uro.
Maybe it's because of your age. I had the same issues and in fact even trying the edge of the bed position I'd go limp once I attempted to enter.
When I described the symptoms to my Uro(the same one who prescribed Trimix) he pretty much said and it sounds like venous leak I was a candidate for an implant.

Mr Skin- you’re young like me. If you know you have VL, have you considered an implant? I’m not sure why I have the issue I have. I feel like excess masturbation damaged my penis when I was younger. Regardless- I have this issue still after doing months of “NoFap.” I would imagine I might have VL too. My hope is to get an implant sometime down the line and save myself from years of trying injections and pills and the like

Go to the doctor's and seek a diagnosis, don't let them ignore you because of your age.

Thanks, I did a few years ago. Went to a few urologists. Even got some test with Dr Lipshultz where he injected something into my dick. Told me that everything was great and said here’s a few viagra to get your confidence back

If the viagra isn't working for you, and you aren't interested in trying injections, no need to keep suffering longer. Get the implant and get back to having sex.

I have VL and I also use Trimix. I had problems keeping my erection in certain positions. My Uro told me to try using a cock ring. I tried various ones but the one that works the best for me is a cock ring called Xialla. You might want to google it.

Masturbation did NOT damage your penis. All of this “no fap” nonsense is just age old sexual shaming in new packaging.

If you are having ED issues, seek out a good urologist. If he says it’s all in your head consider seeing a psychologist, but also consider seeing a different urologist.

Keep pushing until you have the results you need. YOU will have to be the one pushing. But it will be worth it.
