Transferring an online prescription to a local pharmacy

I currently use Rxbuyersclub for my Trimix (they use Olympia Pharmacy). I'm pleased with Olympia but was curious if anyone has tried transferring a prescription from them to a local pharmacy. I was just wondering in case I ever needed to in the future. Any issues in transferring, etc. if anyone has any comments. Thanks in advance.

I am a pharmacist and can tell you it depends on the state where you live. Save yourself some red tape and have your doctor just send it to the pharmacy where you want it transferred. This is a specialty compounded product, so the vast majority of pharmacies will not be able to provide it. Make sure your intended pharmacy has the equipment and facility to make trimix, and in the dosage you were prescribed. I would recommend staying where you are.

Thank you. I intend to. Was just curious in case I needed to for some reason.
