Metallic taste while injecting

When i first started injecting and for quite a while after (years) i used to get a very distinct "metallic" taste in my mouth while injecting Edex, a bit like what blood tends to taste. It lasted for very shot while during the injection and was somewhat related to the results - If the injection was good, i'd get the taste. If i didn't get it, the erection would be mediocre.

Lately i've practically lost that feeling completely. I didn't pay much attention to it, but considering that the injection quality has diminished as well, i am pondering if it's not related.

Has anyone here experienced similar sensation while injecting? Has it evolved during the years? Or am i just a weird one? :D
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

I've never had that experience. You're just weird!
RRP 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Wehle. Non nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 7 - 16 units. Originally Edex20 or 40, then compounded PGE1 due to cost. Inject. 14 yrs. It works. FL Treasure coast.

Not so wierd - I have injected a couple of medications in the past that produce a taste in the mouth. I don't think this is a particularly rare phenomenon.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
