my first injection resulted in an ER visit

Postby Tigercreek » Fri Jun 19, 2020 10:02 am

First time user. I infected 15 units of trimix 30-1-10 per uro recommendation. After a 4 hour erection I took a 30 mg Sudafed and got into our hot tub. 15 mins later I took another Sudafed. 15 mins more with no diminishing erection I started to the ER with a bag of ice in my lap and took a 3rd Sudafed figuring that if they worked I could just turn around and no harm done..It's a 45 min drive and still no relief. Went thru the admitting and 5 hours after becoming erect the er doc comes in, says 'oh my, you need the on call urologist'. They wake him and 1 1/2 hours later he arrives and gives me an injection (don't know how much) of 1% lidocaine and 20mg epi. 15 Mins later the erection starts to subside, but after hearing all of the warnings, a 7 hour erection is worrisome! Doc suggested I make an appointment with my uro and go to bimix or .5 unit of the trimix...all this just to let you know to be very careful increasing you dosage, and that junior will survive an 8 hour erection...... your milage may vary......any advise from experienced users?......stan

Wow! Are you sure you you injected the right amount? Did the Dr. START you off on a low amt. and move up from there or was the amt something he said to start off with? If it is this last statement, I strongly suggest changing Drs because he does not sound like he cares and wants you to find out the hard way (no pun).
7 hours with a stiffy...ouch!

yes, I was very careful with the amount..I have read here that most guys start out with 10 units and increase by 5 units until they get satisfactory results, so I didn't think that 15 was too extream...from what I have heard here and elsewhere, it surprised me that I didn't really have that much pain...just a slight ache like I used to get as a 20 something very horny guy...8 hours is a long time though...

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucinations or delusions at worst. Any advice found on an internet forum is likely worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always follow your doctors advice.

Are you sure you are getting your measurements correct? It would be very difficult to take or even meter out .5 unit. Perhaps you meant 5 units or .05ml. What does the label on your syringe box or bag say as far as gauge, length and volume. Does it say "For U-100 insulin"? What is the line numbering on the actual syringe? Do the numbers go to 30 or 50 or 100? If the syringes are not U-100 Insulin syringes the lines on the syringes may indicate 1/10 of a ml while there are 100 U-100 units in a ml. I think starting at 5 units is probably reasonable.

I'm sorry you had such an exciting first injection.

the syringes are easy touch u-100 insulin syringes, 30 gauge-1/2 inch, and I am confused still with the conversion , but my uro showed me the line to fill to, and I believe it is 15 units. the markings are 10-100 units, and I filled to 15-between the 10 and 20 marks...I have a call in to my uro and think I will drop down to

Good idea. Drop down to 10, BUT again, make sure Dr. said 10 ml.
Now, not sure on the Trimix solution mixture, but I would wait to hear from Dr. what happened. He (or she) may say go even lower because of the mixture.
If you have a medical portal to email your Dr., put in the solution mixture, what happened with Emergency, how many units you injected, etc. as much information as you can.
