injecting with a ring

Postby Tigercreek » Mon Jun 15, 2020 1:42 pm

I've seen several post from guys that use a penis ring and put it on after injecting...is there a particular reason for waiting to put it on after injecting rather than putting it on before?...seems like I usually get the beginnings of an erection just from putting on the ring and that would make the injection easier...also after injecting I would think it would be harder to put the ring on, especially after taking the time to massage the injection site...depending on how fast the injection takes effect of coarse..I have been using a metal ring and think I will change to a silicone one till I get this worked out...stan

As for putting it on before or after I'd say do whatever floats yer boat. I've tried putting the ring on first but to me it just gets in the way of my doing the injection. Yeah, if I wait too long to put it on after injecting it can get difficult. I try not to wait too long. I use silicone rings. I'm a bit afraid of metal rings for injection purposes. Maybe I'm paranoid but even the remote possibility of having to go to the ER to have a ring cut off doesn't appeal to me. Maybe the Fire Dept could do it. I'm sure they could use a laugh. I think I could get a silicone ring off myself in most any circumstance, even if I had to cut it off myself. Maybe I'm too paranoid. However, I've never had any real difficulty removing a silicone ring.

I always put the ring on after a couple of minutes when I used injectables.
Inject, massage the mix up & down the shaft, apply ring. Sometimes it made the injection site hurt if it rubbed on it during sex. Always used silicone types, fav was one that went around the sac and shaft.
And if you ever get a boner that won't go down pop 4-5 Sudafed's. Better than a trip to the ER.

I think both techniques have their pros and cons. However, i believe putting it after injecting is the better option.

If you put the ring before injecting it might just be too large to matter. If it's tight you'll start getting a slight erection. The good part of that is that your penis will be larger and thus you'll have more space to work with for the injection -> less chances of missing the corpus cavernosa. However, the bad side in my experience is that 1) you are more likely to bleed at the injection site since you are already under pressure when the needle goes in (as opposed to if you get hard AFTER which will naturally close the hole even faster) and 2) having a ring on will not only retain blood IN the penis but also block it from entering it too. Yes, the normal state of erection is to have a higher INflow than OUTflow of blood but no one here is exactly normal so anything that makes things harder to get blood in should be avoided.
Once the medication is well spread around the penis and you have a semi-decent erection you can put the ring on to make sure it stays longer and/or is harder.\

I have actually sometimes had better results after REMOVING the ring after a while. I would get a "meh" erection at first, after waiting 4-5 minutes i would put the ring on and get down to business but after a while it would go down. After removing the ring it would actually (sometimes) go back up and better than it was in the first place. Doesn't always happen, but just saying that if it happens to you you might want to remove the ring and see what happens.

Hello the thread, Nice comments.
For me, it is injecting with the ring on. Sometimes too flaccid
without the ring. ALSO, if you need to use a ring, most likely
it is due to venous leakage. So, The trimix or ..mix is also being
flushed faster out of the penis by blood flow. Less can get absorbed.

Interesting point, StanWest!

Guess in the end it's "try and see what work best", as i said :) Everyone is different...
