9 o'clock ok?

Postby 68CatFan » Wed May 20, 2020 10:14 am

Getting ready to start Trimix injections in two days. On the right side there is no concern with veins being in the way at 2 o'clock, however, on the left there is a large vein right at the 10 o'clock position so I'll have to drop down to the 9 o'clock position to inject. I know it's trial and error but has anyone else had to adjust their injection site up or down and did you change your needle length? Thanks.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

Have always found good locations between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock somewhere up and down the shaft. Might have done a 9 o'clock while in a hurry or darkness but never had to change needle size. Use a 31G 5/16 needle and made sure I pushed it all the way in with some pressure and indentation on the shaft.
Age 80 good health. Radiation prostate 28 hits 4 years ago with 6 months of horrible ADT. Good recovery and ED worse.
Can't tolerate oral drugs but 5 years of Alprostadil 40mcg/ml 25 units is a miracle for 3 hours. GF is happy!!

I adhere to the 10 and 2 o'clock positions, yet I have recently found better luck with injecting closer to my body (less than one inch down the shaft). I feel I can hit the corpus cavernosum with high probability. Also Peyronie's from scarring seems less likely. I can really feel and see the needle hitting and penetrating the "soft and spongy" tissue areas more readily. Erections are of better quality for me as well.

Yeah, I move around. 3/9 o'clock is fine. Actually 4/8 o'clock will work too if you make sure the needle is pointed at the center line from the 8 o'clock, which is a little harder to do. And no that shouldn't affect needed needle length. Just remember, from the 4/8 you will be pointing a bit up to be aiming at the center line.

I agree with all the previous posters. I move around to avoid building scar tissue. Been injecting for 20 years now with no issues. All of the positions you mentioned have been used by me with success.

Trimix (30-3-40) injections in conjunction with daily Cialis. Use VED for conditioning.

Can someone please explain what is meant by "X O'clock" position.
I am curious because I am told that Trimix would not work if injected at the wrong spot?

Take the image below and plant a clock face on it and you'll get the idea. You want to hit the Corpora Cavernosa Penis and avoid the other structures:
