Anything topical that one can use in place of an injection?

There is MUSE (intraurethral phe1) and tri-mix gel.

Both do not work nearly as good as the injections.

Our external skin is a very effective barrier. It keeps the things on the outside of our bodies out. This is a good thing, otherwise we would be poisoned by contact with all sorts of things in the environment. But that is why topical application of most things is so ineffective. Unless it is in some sort of solvent they don’t get in to our bodies in high enough doses to be effective. And most solvents are pretty toxic.

The urethra (muse is placed in the urethra) is a mucus membrane and is much more permeable. Nitroglycerin tablets under the tongue or acetaminophen rectal suppositories would be other examples of medications delivered via mucus membranes.

In a high enough concentration, in the right carrier, it’s possible an adequate dose of trimix could be delivered through the skin. But the vagina, mouth, and rectum are lined with mucus membrane. Your partner would get a MUCH higher dose of it than you would.

That is why topical application of local medications for ED is so problematic.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

Taken29,

You could try Misoprost 200mcg tablets dissolved in water as an alternative to actual shots.

It is administered urethrally -- splooshing in and holding it in the urethra until it gets absorbed and then your BigE is good for an hour or hours. I use it with an adjustable velcro cable-tie strap for helping going to 100% EQ. And you can adjust the strap tighter or looser as comfort requires.

It is only $1 per pill from alldaychemist (including shipping).

Cheap enough to use every day or night to keep the blood moving and a pretty good erection (you hope). It contains a form of alprostadil/PGE1 -- but one that absorbs quicker than the regular type used in injections or MUSE.

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.
