Carverject expired

I have some Carverject (refrigerated) that’s probably 3-4 months past expiration date. Would anyone know if it’s safe to still use?

Diagnosed Gleason 7 12/18 at Mayo Jacksonville. Perineal prostatectomy 2/10 Residual cancer in bladder stem. 40 radiation treatments and 6 month Lupron therapy. PSA undetectable 11/20

It would be foolish to suggest you use expired meds. I'm sure they have expiration dates for a reason.

I have no experience with Caverject. Is your version two part with dry powder and saline that you mix in the cartridge before use? Like the Edex?

I hate to admit it but I've used Edex that was expired for several years and kept at room temperature. The powder looked normal and the saline was clear. When mixed it was clear and particle free. It had the desired effect and my dick hasn't fallen off yet.

Don't use expired meds. It's not a risk free endeavor.

It comes premixed (with cold packs) in a vial. No powder.

Have used PG–1 that was expired and refrigerated for over a year and it worked as good as new.
Age 80 good health. Radiation prostate 28 hits 4 years ago with 6 months of horrible ADT. Good recovery and ED worse.
Can't tolerate oral drugs but 5 years of Alprostadil 40mcg/ml 25 units is a miracle for 3 hours. GF is happy!!

I thought Caverject came unmixed.

I use compounded alprostadil from a local pharmacy. It comes premixed. I've use it as much as a year old but I keep it frozen.
