New guy here--I've lurked for a while, but finally joined. 62 yo, Moderate ED prior to prostate radiation treatment, ED worsened after the treatment. 14 months later, cancer check is no issues. Viagra gives me congestion, headache and stuffy head with no results, cialis gives me 50% and no side effects. I started injecting just over a week ago. Mix is 25mg/0.08 mg/8 papav/phento/pg e-1. I started with 15 and have been working my way up in by 5. Something happening, but not much better than the cialis. Today I did 35 and actually "finished the job in the normal way" but still maybe 80% and gone after orgasm. How far can I go with this mixture before I need to talk to the DR about a heavier dose?
Is the expectation of "I'm an 18 yo again for 2 hours real?" what should be a realistic expectation? Wife is great--says she "kinda likes" giving the shots...wierd?

Spent 2 weeks on vacation in Kauai, and increased dose by 5 until I was at 55 for a desired "good experience". Still, about 85% lasting for 30 min--but it worked! Now home, visited Uro yesterday, and he said he does not want me over 50 units. He re-prescribed for a dose of 30-2-20. recommended start at 20 units. Only hit 1 vein so far.....comments from all you experienced users?

You should talk to your uro about increasing the strength. I went through 3, working my way up in strength until we hit the prescription that works. And yes, a 2 hour, very hard and usable boner is a reality. Just have to find the right strength. Good luck.

Welcome.

Keep at it. There's a lot of experiences recounted here with injections and one common thread is that, with some patience and diligence fine tuning your particular blend of the 3 drugs and the volume you inject, you are extremely likely to find a sweet spot which works for you. Yes, absolutely, you're very likely to have some iron bar, 90 min + hardons in your near future. I injected for 9 years before implantation and Trimix was a damn miracle for most of those years. Allowed us to do things I can't even begin to explain here.

Your starter mix is just that, though, a starter mix. There's no set industry standard though. The mixes I went through are listed below. Your mix is slightly weaker than the mix my urologist started me on (mix #5). Mix 5 for me lasted 4.5 years before I got to a full syringe (100 units) and had to move up to a stronger blend. Your results may vary. Just keep at it and let us know how it's going, there's a ton of experience here.

Papaverine / Phentolamine / Prostaglandin (Alprostadil)
mix #5: 30mg 1mg 10 mcg's
mix #8: 30mg 2mg 20 mcg's
mix #9: 30mg 4mg 40 mcg's
mix #13: 30mg 6mg 60 mcg's
mix #16: 30mg 6mg 100 mcg's

And hey, if you've got a wife giddy about injecting your dick, you're a lucky man...she's a keeper!

My wife just happened to be a nurse and yes I have to say she was pretty, nice and experienced. We always have a great time. I am a lucky man!

When I started injecting the nurse told me to alternate sides so I wouldn't get a curve. Well I discovered after some time that I have left-right asymmetry; one side needs 20% less than the other, so it was very difficult to titrate up to the right dose; almost went to ER one time. I suggest when beginning, just use one side, then when you get the right dose for that side write it down or better: make a spread sheet like "Bigdog4all" says. Then cut back 25-30% and experiment with the other side. (I had no curve problem injecting one side many times.) I pull the penis to its full flaccid length to inject figuring that this will minimize scar tissue formation along the needle path, and then imagine five "zones" along the length, injecting a different zone each time. I keep a written record of date, amount, side, zone, hardness, time to orgasm, orgasm quality, after-action pain, and time to soften.
