Trimix bimix prices gathered from pharmacies

Postby PeaceofPain07 » Fri Sep 06, 2019 2:21 pm

Been asking a lot of pharmacies about their pricing for bimix and trimix. As I hear more from them from emails/calls, I'll share here. I know some prices have already been shared here, but I suppose it only helps to share more data points and latest prices.

1) Americare Compounding, LLC
319 Nassau Boulevard
Garden City, NY 11530

Bimix we offer in 5ml vial which is $80. The size most similar to what you are getting is 10ml and that is $125.00.
The max we go to is papaverine 30mg/ml and phentolamine 5mg/ml.

As far as Trimix 5ml is $82.00, 10ml is $130.00.

In regards to pricing for different strengths-our prices remain the same. Whether you are at a less concentrated or more concentrated formulation, the price is the same. (Replied back asking what is the max they do for pge1)

2) https://www.wc-rx.com/

We make a 30m/ 3mg 5ml vial for $90.

This is really the preferred max although some Dr.'s in unique cases increase the phentolamine.

We use a very concentrated form of prostagladin in our trimix and men experience less pain with the prostaglandin (less alcohol used). A 30mg-3m-30mcg trimix would be $100 for 5ml vial.

3) http://www.TheChemistShopPharmacy.com
30-15 38th Ave
Long Island City, NY 11101
718-472-0900 OPTION 2
f. 718-472-0909

Here are the prices of the injectable ED medication we make:
Alprostadil 10 mcg / Papaverine 30 mg / Phentolamine Mesylate 1 mg 3 mL: $65
Alprostadil 30 mcg / Papaverine 30 mg / Phentolamine Mesylate 0.5 mg 3 mL: $65
Alprostadil 40 mcg / Papaverine 30 mg / Phentolamine Mesylate 4 mg 3 mL: $95
Alprostadil 50 mcg/ml 5 ml Vial: $65
Unfortunately we do not compound Bimix
The Chemist Shop Pharmacy is one of the few pharmaces in NY that is accredited for both Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding by PCAB. Every injectable medication that is compounded is tested for sterility and potency to ensure safe and effective therapy.

4) Talon Pharmacy
The price for a 10 ml vial of Tri-Mix is $89 plus $33 overnight shipping. Syringes are $3.50 for a pack of 10. I replied back asking for more info on concentration/formulations/min&max/etc

This sort of info is helpful.

My uro’s office charges $250 for 10ml bimix and the receptionist told me they won’t release prescriptions for me to get it filled elsewhere. I don’t think this is actually true. I’ll be talking with my uro when I see him next in 2 weeks. If true, I’ll be finding a new uro.
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

GoodWood,

It's always been my understanding that it's ethically questionable for a doctor to refuse to provide a prescription copy so that the patient can deal with the pharmacy of his/her choice.

This is just an impression — I've never seen it in writing anywhere. Perhaps some FT member has more definitive information.

I do know that when I asked my urologist for a copy of my prescription, he provided it instantly. Our doctor-patient relationship remains cordial.

My uro sent it to the pharmacy I requested without hesitation.
