Is there any reason to inject without a partner?

Postby Ratt19 » Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:28 pm

I am in the process of going through tests to determine the best course of action for me. Viagra did not work and my doctor believed that my issue is damage from diabetes. The test from my Testosterone came back as 241, and I am awaiting his call. More than likely I will be put on injections.

My question is this. If I don't have a partner, is there any reason to pay for and take injections?

I inject occasionally for the sheer joy of having a hard on, and jerking off. I have a partner, but sometimes the boner is just for me.

Yeah at least initially there is. I'd suggest a certain amount of practice at least until you get your technique figured out and are comfortable with it.

These are things to think about. The price may be the deal breaker for me though. I am disabled. I will check with my doctor.

Yes, self gratification is therapeutic and keeps things function. Also thought to help with prostate issues. Its good for mental wellbeing as well.

In many cases Tri-mix or compounded Mono-mix (AKA generic Edex/Caverject) can be very affordable when computed out per shot. Even down right cheap. It is for me. It depends on what strength and dose as well as the pharmacies available to you. You won't know if you don't investigate. I think it's costing me about $2 bucks a shot. Of course it's not near as cheap for everyone but you won't know until you look into it further.

I agree with all the things posted here. Sometimes you just need to be able to get hard and get off. Some studies say men need to "clean the pipes" to keep things functioning correctly and reduce the chance of prostate cancer, prostatitis, and other problems. I found, to my regret, that "Use it or lose it" is also very true. If you don't get erect fairly often you may find that you get atrophy, losing the very tissues that help cause erections and making your dick shrink significantly over time. I got my size back with an implant, but before that, I'd shrunk a lot with no way to get it back.

Getting hard from injections may help with all of these things, although the frequency of use is not very high. You're supposed to inject no more than every other day. Most healthy men get multiple erections every day, often during sleep.

Also, many men can jack off successfully without an erection, so that might help clean the pipes and give you some of the hormonal and pleasurable benefits. But getting off with a hardon is simply better.

So I'd say, yes, it's worth using. Perhaps not multiple times a week, as it is expensive and injecting can cause some scarring, but at least enough to get the enjoyment and keep things functioning. You never know when in the future you might want to be able to use your dick.

Whatever you decide, we hope you get the best result possible.

Why having an erection that is bent even makes masturbation difficult , I dread the 4 week period after 2ns xiaflex shot, before even wacking off. Xiaflex increases the chances that you can fracture the copra. So partner or no partner I need the release. I have a psa that 0.04 and I want to keep it that way. I am divorced and dated many ladies. Last relationship started when peyronies started. So intercourse with a 90 bend does not work.. Getting a blow job is awkward as the bend is ridiculous. She did not want to catch what I had. Hence the end of the relationship. Shallow and ignorant are wonderful traits. But being a I lost almost 3 inches in length, banging her was not going to be easy. See she was kind of fat. I don't talk that way, but the insensitivity was overwhelming. So plans are to get this fixed. I will feel better about things if I know I can perform. If not with another then by myself. I do take cialis 5mg daily to keep expansion on going .. It does work, but the vision and hearing problems, along with muscle aches is limiting that. Sometime I use l-arginine to keep some flow as well. But forget the bs that peyronies gets better, it does not and if untreated the plaque can calcify. Then you have a penis that becomes like bone. I don't know if inplants can treat that. Any surgery to remove is going to cause nerve damage. Bottom line, life sucks now, but I expect it will get better. Waking off when I can, helps. Problem, with 90 bend, the urethra is bent, ecjaculation has a lot a force . Penis does not expand and it hurts to ejaculate. Peyonries and and ED suck. But I am an the eternal optimist, I will beat this. One way or another

First I am not an MD but see a holistic doctor on occasion. I have found that there are "calcium' depositers". They usually have multiple foci for deposition. Two relatives, have had gout, calciferous heart plaques and kidney stones. Others add arthritis and kidney failure. Peyronies. I have none of these issues. I am not a calcium depositer. Calcium depositers tend to run basic pH, non-depositers run acidic pH. I don't know if these calcium plaques can be reversed. But acidifying yourself may help prevent further deposition, on the member as well as elsewhere.

I am not a medical professional of any kind, and have no ax to grind, but I am going to suggest that an erection is an erection caused by injection, suppository, oral meds or by vacuum. If you want an erection just to keep the tissues flexible and elastic and to flush blood through the tissues for oxygenation, a vacuum erection device is a lot cheaper and has less potential for damage than injections. Discuss with your urologist. You can get sex-shop devices for considerably less than medical grade devices if insurance will not cover the cost. I do suggest getting one with a gauge so you can keep track of (and limit) the amount of vacuum.

Not much good for masturbation, but can restore recently lost length/girth and who knows - may give some straightening effect. Not likely, that last part, but one can hope.

I used a V.E.D. prior to implantation based on some medical journal articles I read and believe it helped me to an easier time of it recovering, so I just recommend investigating. I am not recommending unless you find it has promise for you. 90-degree bend might preclude you fitting inside the cylinder. On the other hand, straightening might be enabled.
