How often can I inject, and what is risk of scarring/ peyrones?

Just got trimix, it works but I am a bit concerned about a few things.

The urologist who i got it from, who is one of the top urologists in the state, told me risk of scarring is minimal and rare, I also asked another doctor/specialist from a mens health clinic which treats thousands of men and he told me scarring is seen like once in a thousand cases and they use trimix all the time.

However, after reading some threads on this board, i have seen threads where as many of half of the men in the thread say they have used trimix for as little as 1-3 years and end up with scarring/ fibrosis/ lumps/ peyrones/ deformity

some rate of 50% of use for 1-3 years and ending up with permanent penis damage sounds horrible like something nobody in their right mind would ever use.. but i think this is some not normal representation because the men who come to post in these threads come to post their complaints so they would be some of the few who did have the problems.

Also, related to that, lets say you switch sides every time, how many times per week is it actually safe to use this? My doctor told me 3 times per week, i have seen as little as two which seems frankly too infrequent.. i was hoping somewhere up to every other day? but I dont want to end up with scars/ damage since im treating some hormonal issues and im still young and there may still be a chance of me fixing my issue and no longer needing this medication.

I can't give firm stats on scaring. I don't know if it's rare but I believe most don't have problems. The only time I experienced any issues at all was when I took a break from it. I don't think my dick liked the sabbatical.

I was told every other day or 3 times a week. I usually stay withing that recommendation.

You need to remember that this site is strongly dominated by guys that have or are getting implants. Pretty much by definition the injections didn't work for them for one reason or another. So yeah, the trend on here is going to be more anti injections.

Yes, I switch sides every time. It's recommended and I follow the recommendation.

I also recommend you switch off with a VED for both therapy and for extra play. I have violated the injection frequency guidelines a few times but I don't do that often. Other don't follow the recommendations as religiously and claim to be doing fine. Your decision.

Improvement87, My Uro told me virtually the same thing your doc did. My doc, (who has no discernible personality) specializes in men's sexual health. He said every other day, but didn't specify no more than 3 times per week. The literature that comes with my juice does however, recommend the 3 per week limit. I have injected 4 times in a week, but 3 is about average for me. I am so jazzed about being able to get a real, hard, sustainable hard on for the first time in 15+ years, that 3-4 a week feels like heaven!
