Whatever happens, whatever the results, if ya need a refill, but he has the say, to go to 30/1/10 next one up. Wood, if I got to step outside with a boner, I put it up under Neath waist band , you'd never know. Lol

Well, had my dr. appointment this afternoon, & as I expected, uro wanted to insure placement and technique were correct. He prepared syringe with 50 units, I dropped shorts & underwear, jumped on table and the Doctor proceeded with my 50 Unit injection (which I watched to insure my placement and depth were like his) and stated he would return shortly.
About 15 to 20 minutes, Dr. returned and inquired about any reaction, so I just did it the easiest way, showed him. Dr. gloved up, and touched penis. I had gained some length and girth, but firmness/hardness, NOT, like he said, "That won't get the job done", I agreed. On the up side, my added length & girth lasted for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours, which was, maybe, a look at future me when Dr. & I figure things out.
Discussed, briefly, about an implant, pretty sure that is off the table for me.
Next was talk about getting/trying a VED, which I now have prescription for and should get a phone call NLT Monday about who the supplier will be.
And, we also discussed moving up to the next strength of Tri-Mix, which I also said Yes to. Doctor K said he'll complete the extra form to see if insurance will pay for the compounding formula and fax to the Pharmacy tomorrow, so I'll call them Friday A.M. Whether insurance pays, or I have to, I will be trying the next level of Tri-Mix.
So, patiently waiting for VED info & next, more potent Tri-Mix solution.

It seems you have a very cautious doctor. At least it seems things are moving forward.

You may have a cautious uro, but at least you can see him and talk to him about results! Mine doesn't care except to up strength or need refill, but that don't matter anymore, cause that's all I'll need from him now. Told the wife I'm doing 2 days of injections. One a maintenance dose and another for sex. Well she didn't want to last night, so did maintenance shot of 12 units and I believe I could have done her with that! That's a half dose, what's up with that? Lasted good hr - hr and half?

It's somewhat of a guessing game to figure out what dosage is the proper one.
Keep up the experimenting and hopefully you will get there. Curious about the maintenance shot ? Have been injecting once per week and now lowered the dosage to 20 units and it still works for 4 1/2 hours. GF and I are only good for an hour or so and are both fairly worn out but sometimes get at it again with success but harder work for her.
Age 80 good health. Radiation prostate 28 hits 4 years ago with 6 months of horrible ADT. Good recovery and ED worse.
Can't tolerate oral drugs but 5 years of Alprostadil 40mcg/ml 25 units is a miracle for 3 hours. GF is happy!!

I’ve never heard of a maintenance dose. Is that a thing? What is the purpose and how is the dose determined?
55yo, NYC. ED started at 40. 50 units BiMix + Atropine (Pap 30/Phen 6/Atr 0.2). Prostaglandins caused aching. Doses increasing. A cock ring helps. Phallosan Forte tension devise to maintain size. Eager to talk about implant experiences.

My speculation is that a maintenance dose is what you tell your wife you're taking when she isn't interested and you're so happy you've found the new joy juice that works, that you want to do it again, so you can feel yourself with the boner you've been missing for so long. Since wife isn't interested, you'll be going solo and the hardness and duration desired for PIV sex isn't needed. Therefore maintenance dose sounds better and perhaps more politically correct than chicken-choking dose :P

If that works for you (him) or her, then it works for me ;)

Leebert, No I didn't. I had planned to call Pharmacy yesterday afternoon, However, our son had a Gran Mal seizure (not our first trip down this road). We have Diastat to administer, which we did, two doses, and then called 9-1-1, and spent the next 5.5 hours in the E.R. He's doing fine now, but when seizing, Not Pleasant for him or us.
So, I'll make that call on Monday, Hopefuly.
Isn't there a saying, "Good Things Come To Those Who Wait"?
If the next strength up of Tri-Mix helps me, makes something happen, I/we haven't seen/enjoyed for awhile, I'll wait. :P
