faint reactions after injection

Postby MikeFromOregon » Tue Jul 23, 2019 2:14 pm

Hi,
I just got my test dose of trimix this morning, and it sohappened that I got really really faint, and almost actually fainted. I know this occasionally happens to me when I get blood drawn (not usually, but occasionally), and pretty much always when I get dilating drops in my eyes. I suspect it won't happen much with this either, but I'm just curious if anyone else had this experience and had any tips. I really don't want to get faint at home when doing it, and the doctor was really worried and seems to think that if it happens a second time we'll have to re-think injections altogether.
Thanks!
-Michael.

Wow, I don't know what to say. Do you have a pretty bad needle phobia? How long did that last? Were you very nervous getting the shot? If it was just nerves I'd think you'd get over that issue and get to actually anticipate the result. Otherwise I'll certainly defer to your doctors wisdom.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Michael Wehle. Nerve sparing - badly damaged. C in margin. V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ ~ 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE-1 - cost. Inject. 10+ yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

It lasted a few minutes, maybe less of the worst of it. From what I read it's probably caused by inappropriate nurvous system reactions that cause blood vessles in the legs to dilate, the heart to beat slower, all of which causes blood to pool in the legs and prevent the brain from getting enough oxygen. From what i've read it can be caused by nurves, and also lying back so your legs are level or above your head can pretty much prevent it 100%. There are also a couple other things you can do, so I think I'll be ok.
Just for more info and so if anyone else looks.
-Michael.
P.S. I actually don't have a needle fobia, I get a shot in the leg every night, a much bigger shot in the leg every 2 weeks. I suspect it was nurves, plus the fact I took the bus then walked a mile to get there (which we've decided we're never doing again heh).

So Willie finds this old lamp and thinks it is a Genie's lamp. So he rubs it and, sure enough, out springs a genie. "You may have two wishes". Willie thinks for a second and says. "Give me the biggest cock in the world!" Voila, Willie has a monster hanging to his knees. "Now give me the most beautiful naked woman in the world". Poof, the most gorgeous woman appears. Willie starts getting an enormous erection -- and immediately faints dead away.

Well, there yah go. You might just have tooooo much to fill up.
