Increase dose..new Rx not working.

Postby 4jacres » Fri Jul 12, 2019 7:21 am

One year user of Trimix. Started at 5 units, settled at 7 units for most of the year. Keeping it frozen was working but at the end of the year it started losing strength. Doc renewed my prescription and the new stuff doesn't seem as strong or I need to increase dose...not sure which. I increased to 12 units but it is still not like it was with my beginner batch. Should I keep increasing dose? Does your body get use to the drug compound which requires a change or maybe a weak batch from my local pharmacy? Any help is appreciated.

I just started with trimix a couple of weeks ago and in my opinion... its the best thing since sliced bread! I sure hope that the effects you are experiencing are the results of an out of date bottle and maybe a weaker mix from the pharmacy. Human error is still a major factor in many things that don't work right. I would try a slightly higher dosage and see if that helps. Good luck!

How does the new stuff compare to the remaining old stuff? Did he write the script for the same mix ratio? Maybe he thought the original was too strong if you were only using 5 units. What is your mix?

I use mono-mix which is just the alprostadil, the most potent ingredient of tri-mix but also the most perishable ingredient by far. What I'm now using is over a years old. It still works well enough but not as it did when new. Fortunately mine comes in ten 1ml viales so I store the ones I'm not currently using in the back of the freezer where it freezes solid and that seems to help. The vial I'm using out of is also kept in the freezer but in a more accessible location where it doesn't actually freeze solid.

Check the label on your new meds and see if it's supposed to be the same as the old. Lastly, I'd consider trying a new batch as it's possible the pharmacy botched it somehow.

Good luck!

In pondering apparent reduced effectiveness of trimix, yes a "weak formula" or an outdated vial are certainly possibilities.

But we should also consider the possibility that the diminished response simply reflects a natural progression of whatever physical condition is causing our ED in the first place — venous leak, for example.

I say this as a user who required steadily increasing doses for three years, then switched to quad mix.

I recently had my 1-year uro visit and asked to up the formula from 30/1/40 (papa./phento./prost.) While the uro was game, the pharmacy I get it at doesn't go higher than 30/2/40.

Going from 40 units to 50 to 60 doesn't make much difference in rigidness, just a bit more time, which is not necessary.

Maybe my longtime v-leak is getting worse. Should I be interested in a quad mix? What would that do for me?

Remember I'm just a bubba and I don't know squat. Ask your doctor!

I'm surprised. My pharmacy (FLA only) will make whatever the doctor orders. Yours must be one of those that just gets in pre-mixes they resell. Maybe find a better pharmacy?

I think increasing just the PGE-1 might be the direction to investigate if you want more rigidity but not time. Link to Wedgewood Pharmacy information PDF that has some info on that: http://www.wedgewoodpharmacy.com/uploads/ED%20Switching%20Guide.pdf

Have you tried adding novelty cock rings to the mix? Most are junk for the purposes you'd want them for but there are good ones to be found through trial and error. Expect to throw some away or add to the junk drawer. They obviously don't work for everyone and I'm sure it depends on the severity of your leak but for me they work great, at least for now.

Could be. That's certainly a doctors question. I'm guessing more alprostadil (PGE-1) and if that doesn't do it moving on to quad.

Yes, I use cock rings. They do help.

And yes, the prostiglandin (that's the PGE1, right?) is the one I want to increase. But 40/mcg is as far as they will go. It is a pharmacy near me and the doctor's office, so it's been very convenient. Have checked out many of the out-of-state pharmacies, and they are either much more costly or don't mail to my state.

I started with BiMix 2 years ago, then went to Trimix 30/0.5/10, 30/1/10, and last year up to 30/1/40. Quite the jump from 10 to 40. But now they will only increase the phentolamine from 1 to 2.

I think you guys are on the wrong track trying to increase the prostaglandin from 30 to 40, etc...

I know that everyone's body chemistry and physiology is different... but I think you'll find the trick of staying hard has nothing to do with maxing out the amount of prostaglandin.

I inject 10 units of the stuff, and my boner goes SUPER-MAX hard and stays that way for 2 and 3 hours... (no I'm not exaggerating).

Here is my dosage: Papaverine 30mg; Phentolamine 3mg; Prostaglandin 3mcg; Atropine .2mg/ml

You'll notice that my prostaglandin is "3", not 30 or 40. My phentolomine is a little higher than yours, but not by a bunch. What is different.... is atropine! (I'm using Quad-mix, not tri-mix).

My dick will stay hard for up to 4 hours if I keeps it constantly physically stimulated. I usually got for about 2 hours, then let it rest... If you leave it unstimulated in will start deflating in about an hour. If you have a situation and need to deflate quick , use the sudafed and neosynephrine method (takes about 45 minutes but you';ll see the effects in about 30). If you need it down immediately, inject the antidote and it will be down in 15 minutes.

I think it's the atropine that gives the straying power. Also, this formulation doesn't "spoil" if left refrigerated. Again, I think it must be the atropine that's doing the trick.

This stuff is a miracle drug. I don't know why they're not handing it out on every street corner in America.

Enjoy.
