Urologist tomorrow

I visit my Urologist tomorrow for annual visit to get Trimix scrip for another year. But I’m having wife on top issues. Just won’t stay hard. Is very frustrating. I’m going to ask if he can change the formula. I’m currently at 15 mg papaverine, 0.5 mg phentolamine, 25 mcg alprostadil, 400 mcg cyanocobalamin. What are the odds anything can be done? Wife has to be on top.

Lots of room for more strength in that formula. However, this is the first time I have heard of cyanocobalamin mixed in with Trimix. Isn't it used as a vitamin supplement? Aside from the cyanocobalamin, I am on a 100-30-3 formula to your 25-15-0.5.

Like I said, lots of option for you to strengthen your Trimix script overall. Talk to your doc about options to make it stronger, nad also inquire about the cyanocobalamin. I study Trimix a lot on this board and elsewhere, and simply haven't heard it mentioned. But then again, I am not a doctor.

Good luck!

I am glad you are here to assist members with formula questions... I don't know pee from paint about the injections except, I didn't like it, it hurt and I have an instructional video made by one of our members on the correct way to inject and I am more than happy to share it when asked. :)

Well, the visit didn’t go too well. When I reminded him I was on Trimix he said, “that’s the strongest there is”. When I asked about a formula change he left the room to check with the nurse! Huh? Not sure I’m going to the right place. Any recommendations in northern Illinois?

Pharmacists often know more about drugs than Doctors. Perhaps the nurse in question is more well-versed than your Doc. Be thankful you have a Doctor who is not so ego-driven that he is unwilling/unable to consult with someone with deeper knowledge then he has. The willingness to admit ignorance is a good sign.

On the other hand, you may want to check the credentials of the nurse as well as your Doctor.

Be well-informed yourself.

I've definitely found that i know more about some things related to ED than many of the doctors I've seen. Urologists that specialize in male sexual health seem to be much better in this area than others. I've also found that these sexual health specialists are more concerned about helping. My old uro left me with nearly total ED and no suggestions for any options. I went to a new uro that was part of one of my area's male sexual health programs and he immediately gave me several options. We tried them all and finally went with an implant. I'm very happy with the change in uros and wish I'd done it sooner.

Good luck.

Quincy.

He may have asked the nurse to check the CPS (bible of drugs) so he could continue seeing patients while she looked up all the details... I agree that his asking for others opinions is NOT a bad thing at all. After 23 years working in the medical industry, I can say that I actually have a lot of respect for your doctor. :)

Thanks Larry! The more informed, quality tip and good questions here, the better! I'd also love to see your injection video. I'm always trying to improve my injection technique.

Good morning Cigar56;
The file is too big to post here, if you provide me with an email address, I will send it to you. The video is not me, it is another member and was very well done. Cheers. :)
