Inconsistent results with Alprostadil

A new injector only 6 times. I have been getting funny results
Injection is for Alprostadil at 15-20 units of 10 mcg/ml good results on initial hardening and penetration hardness in about 10-15 minutes . but then it gets soft again after another 15 minutes far to short. Then about an hour later it gets hard again roughly the same hardness as initially and stays hard for about 2 hours and then softens naturally (no sudafed or ice).
I am concerned that increasing the dosage will make the secondary hardening problematic .
Any suggestions? or comments

Welcome to the forum.

Wow, I've never run into that issue. Sometimes after I've gone down substantially but not fully I can sort of get it up again with stimulation but nothing like you describe. I will say that your dose is low compared to mine and that's good. Lately I've been doing 12 units of 80 mcg/ml. That's good for a couple of hours. I can use more and get harder, and have, but overall that dose seems to work best for now. It's not a towel hanger at that dose.
All I can do is to suggest you consult with your doctor.

Thanks, my doctor does not appear very knowledgeable

am thinking about changing to Trimix but on initial try from this doctor ended up in the emergency room after 8 hours not sure of the dose provided by the doctor
any suggestion on a good starting dose given my situation

No, in your situation and experience I wouldn't have a suggestion on mix or dose. I'm not qualified for that anyhow. Besides, my experience has been with straight alprostadil at 80mcg/ml, often supplemented with generic Viagra. Can you find a doctor more experienced in this stuff than the one you're currently using?

I too use 20-40mg of Sildenafil while injecting 100/30/20/.001 Quadmix. No pain since switching over to Quadmix. Can't figure out why but not complaining! I take the Sildenafil before injecting as it helps me find a good spot when plump.

I've noticed inconsistent results as well. I injected .15 two nights ago and had an erection for almost 4 hours. Today I used .14 and it lasted at most 45 minutes. I'm not sure what the difference was. I'm wondering if my technique was off. It's kind of confusing and I have some varied results. My prescribed offered to switch me to another mix at one point if I needed, but for now I'm ok with the pge1. I just wish I could get it to be more consistent.
