And so it begins

Greetings. I have been lurking and reading the previous pages for a while now. Last week I went to a Uro and had a test dose. He shot me up with a quad mix the clinic refers to as the next to highest mix they have. I was given .25ml and got a semi-rigid erection, so the Doc said to do my first dose at .3 and see how it goes.
I travel a lot, and will finally have the chance to pick up my juice this Friday. I have had ed for some years and tried to soldier through, using Viagra to no avail. Was reduced to using toys and giving CPR to my young wife. What a bullshit existence. I don't mean the CPR, I love that, but I wanted to have the raging wood I had when we met 15 years ago. Now it looks like Friday is launch day and I can hardly wait to try it out.
The Doc used an auto injection device so I would see how it works, and what it is like. He said most of his patients use one but not all. I am not sure if I want to or not. I gather that technique is very important and I am concerned that I would be clumsy with it. Therefore I am really thinking I should inject manually. I have absolutely no qualms about sticking my dick with a needle. Kinda wondering if the auto injector would take some of the required finesse I haven't acquired yet out of the equation. I have been doing my own test injections for years. In fact, I used to do 3 a week when I was compounding my own juice and it was so cheap you could just squirt it at will for next to nothing. I know, bad idea (I refer you to my screen name  ) but I used ancillaries and educated myself as best I could and had no problems.
So, I guess this is my introduction to all of you and the board. I am so ready to go! I just hope I get it right the first time. Can't be that hard to do. After all, it isn't rocket surgery. Mr. Hyde is about to be re-woken boys!

I hope everything goes well for you. I get very anxious when I'm about to inject, but have done so 7 times manualy and the last time with an auto inject (inject ease I think). I would recommend manual injection the first time since you are comfortable so that you can be sure to get the right spot. I have only had 2 misses in 8 shots so far (I'm also new to this) and the last miss was my first (only) try with auto inject.

I had good luck from the staet, with 2 difficult injecrions and decided to try auto inject. There are 2 that I have read about in these forms and I will try both. But I will manualy inject next time.

I will say that there is very very little pain with the auto inject. Manual injection doesnt hurt very much either, but slightly more likely due to my slow, scared technique.

I use 5 units in a 30G 1/2"

I hope this information is helpful and timely.

Thanks for the insight. My concern with the auto inject is that it seems kinda large and would be hard to see where the needle will actually hit, making it more likely to hit a vein and that would render the injection useless to my understanding.
You'll get more comfortable with doing injections with time. The first time I injected test I was a nervous wreck. Now it is a breeze.

My sexual medicine specialist recommended manual injection and that is what I have always used. From my experience, hitting a small vein does not affect the erection quality provided that you still get the Trimix into the corpus cavernosum. It can make things a little messy because there is more bleeding. However, this is usually minor and can be controlled with a few minutes of pressure.
