Just cant get injection formula right

I have been working with a doctor for the last month on getting my formulation right, and still cant. I fear I either will have a 6 hour erection, or nothing. I first started out on a Quad mix, don't know the exact ratios, but it was called QM19.
The initial dose of 10 units caused a 6 hour painful erection, even after taking the Terbutaline and Sudafed afterward as directed. Went down to 6, same problem. Each time, I tried 6 I had a 4-5 hour erection. Tried 4 units a couple of times, and absolutely no effect.
Went back to get a new lower formulation. This time it was called trimix 22F, and had 25 micrograms PGE1, 30 mg Papaverine and 2 mg phento per ml. Doctor though I should try between 10 and 20 units to start. I started out at 10 units, and again, 6 hour erection, later went to 6 units, no effect whatsoever.
So, which of the 3 items could I be sensitive to? I cant understand the wild swings in erection time with small tweaks to the dosage. I am hitting the right spot, so don't think it is an injection problem.

Geez Louise, Starting out with Quad mix? From what I've gathered on FT the conservative injection progression is Monomix(PGE1) then Bimix(Papaverine +Phentolamine) then Trimix and if all fails Quadmix(Papaverine, Phentolamine, Prostaglandin , Atropine). I started out with Edex20. It's basically Alprostadil(PGE1) but was way too costly and personally ineffective. Are you sure your Trimix is using PGE3? I've not heard of that. Anyway, with the Edex I experienced what I'd call a feeling of a raging hard on for a few hours. After the first 4 tries the 'burn' didn't happen. It's as if Li'l Alfa got used to the meds. So my non-professional guess is that the PGE3(?) is the culprit.

You are right, not PGE3 but PGE1

You could try a mono-mix, which is what I use. It's just the PGE1 (alprostadil). It works fine for me. It should tell you how that ingredient figures in for you. Also, from what I've read, it's the ingredient least likely to cause damage, although one study I read indicated that it wasn't totally risk free either. My mix is 80mcg of PGE1 per ml. I use 8 to 12 units of that. Sex at 12 units and chickin choken at 8.

I realize when I used injections all we had was Caverject that worked very well. My problem was it worked all to well and I had erections that would last 9 or more hours. I then had to inject something else to kill the first injection. I did this for almost 2 years as implants where beginning to be available at that time. I did have problems in the beginning getting the right amount. My doctor said it had to be due to the size of what I possessed which wasn't all that big but more than 6 inches and I had a lot of girth. If I didn't put enough in I would get hard and if I didn't move fast enough I ended up with a limp noodle. If I put enough in to do the job, including foreplay I ended up with an erection that just wouldn't go away without a second injection to take Mr. Happy down. That same injection put me to sleep so fast especially after a nice romp in the bed often including a 2nd ejaculation. I am seeing names of things here and I need to research to understand them better. If you haven't tried Caverject ask your doctor about it. I just checked and it is still being use. What I would do is do foreplay get the setting right, and then inject such a small amount but I got hard and it, 90 percent of the time lasted just long for one round and bust my nut. I can't say that often the mood was changed and not for the better. I always felt it was a tricky business.

I trust this will help as you are not alone in this regard.

Wes,
Both Caverject and Edex are brand names in proprietary dispensers of Alprostadil, AKA PGE1, AKA Prostaglandin E1, AKA (usually) Mono-mix, when dispensed by a compounding pharmacy. It is also one of the ingredients of Tri-mix and usually Quad-mix but I don't believe usually included in Bi-mix.
