Hi,

I am a newbie of this forum.

I was given 0.2 ml of Trimix per corpora. I have a syringe marked in units. How many units is equal to 0.2 ml?

I understand that the penis had two corpora. It means it needs an injection on each corpora?

Thank for any help in advance!

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is at best based on my personal experience and at worst based on hallucinations or delusions. Nothing I post should be misconstrued as medical advice. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I've never heard of a script or instructions advising to inject both sides. The sides are supposed to be connected so shooting one side should do.

What formula of tri-mix were you given?

Did you get a trial or instruction injection at your doctors office? Did you get any instructions?

I'm not an expert on medical dosage or measurements. Assuming your syringes are marked in U-100 insulin units, I believe you would be looking at 20 units.

If this will be your first injection, I personally would error on the side of caution and try 10 units first. You can up the dose on the next trial.

Please read as many of the threads in the Injections sub-forum as you can stand.

In the General Discussion sub-forum there is a thread called Documents and etc Worth reading list. You might want to check out some of the links. Then scroll down to the Videos and look for the video on injections.

Be careful and good luck.

I agree with bldoink... especially on the starting dosage. My initial first dose in my urologist's office was 0.1 or 10 units and my erection lasted 5 hours and that was after taking 120mg of old school regular 4 hour Sudafed(4 30mg pills) at the 3.5 hour mark. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH! Trimix is great but does take some schooling to use it properly and not end up in the hospital because of an erection that won't go away.

To answer your question, 0.2ml is 20 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Without knowing more about your situation, it's hard to comment. Did your provider inject you in the office? What is the strength of your Trimix? I started with 5 units and titrated up 2 units each injection to find the most effective dose. Better to go low and slow than end up in the ER.

MrMann,

Thank you for your reply you just posted it after I recently my new posting on ”Question about between U-40 and U-100 syringes” topic.

Thanks!
