Inconsistent results with trimix

Hey guys, I'm a 27 year old that has had ED since 18. I was able to make it until about age 25 without the use of ED meds, but could really only keep it up for 10-20 minutes at a time before losing my erection. At the age of 26 I discovered that I have low testosterone, and have been on HRT for about a year now. Unfortunately HRT has made me feel much worse, and has made my ED almost 100%. I do not respond to PDE-5 inhibitors for the most part. I can take 10 mg of Cialis and 50-100mg of Viagra before bed and wake up with morning wood of varying intensity depending on my hormones. Unfortunately when I start to use these erections I lose them.

I've been using the basic starting mix of trimix 30/1/10 for about 5 months now. Dosages have ranged from .04ml to .22ml. Currently I've settled on roughly 20 units, but my current batch might be getting weak. The problem I've experienced at all dosages is that I either end up with a 10 minute erection, or a 6-7 hour erection. Frequently I'll start losing my erection during sex about 15-30 minutes in, but as soon as I lay down after sex, the erection returns and nothing will make it go down until 6-7 hours have passed. It's like there's no in between. It either doesn't work, or it works too well. I'm injecting at 3 and 9 o' clock 1" from the base using a 31ga 5/16" syringe. I always draw back the plunger and check for blood.

Any advice would be great, a 1-2 hour erection is what I really want. It's also frustrating that I begin to lose my erection some times, only for it to come back after sex.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences at best and hallucinations or delusions at worst. Nothing I post should be misconstrued as medical advice. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her directions.

Talking out of my azz here but I think you really need some more extensive diagnosis by a urologist specializing in male sexuality type issues. It sounds to me like you have a venous leak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venous_leak.

I think adding a constriction ring (AKA cock ring) may be your ticket, at least temporarily. I'd suggest trying some novelty (sex shop) rings first. I use one around the shaft behind the boys. I use the "Lyps" brand. You'll have to experiment to find what works. Expect to throw some in the trash. You want just tight enough to fight your possible venous leak without adding so much constriction you have to be concerned with time length of wear. You want rings that can be easily removed when erect. You MAY find you can use less meds with a ring. Wearing a TIGHT constriction ring longer that 15-20 minutes can be damaging. If the somewhat milder novelty rings don't do the trick then consulting your doctor about tighter medical grade would be advisable. Of course actual medical advice is always more advisable than internet advice. You get what you pay for.

You may have some difficulty finding a doctor competent and experienced in diagnosing male ED causes. You may want to post a question requesting doctor suggestions for your geographic area.

Step: Had very similar results with trimix. Agree totally with the previous poster, get a diagnosis from a reproductive medicine or sexual medicine specialist. We finally went with an implant and we love it. Difference I was 72 when I got it. Good Luck.

Thank you gentlemen, I do have a referral in for a really good urologist to get full diagnostics done. I'll try a cock ring, although I really would hate to complicate intercourse more than it already is. My gf has been great about it so far. I do have some on hand that I never opened.

The implant terrifies me, especially considering I'm only 27. That's really not an option I'm considering at the moment, then again I never thought I'd be sticking my dick with a needle to have sex.

Step: I understand the reluctance to entertain an implant. My initial reaxtion wass "they are not doing that to me!" you certainly don;t want one if other therapies work. In the alternative, if they don;t sex is too important to just go off frustrated. If you are intersted, after your diagnostic appointment, I would be glad to do a show and tell via Skype or Facetime.

That's great. You really want to get a proper diagnosis. Be sure and tell the doctor everything. Don't hold back. Make sure you tell the doctor about your ED being effected by position.

As for rings, I've found that only silicone rings have enough substance to be effective. Other guys have other preferences. The jelly type are worthless for this purpose. As far as complicating things, well you can put the ring(s) on ahead of time if you wish. Although my wife initially thought the ring concept was odd it turns out she actually likes the rings and the way they "packages things". I do the one around my shaft behind the boys for mainly ED aid but she also likes a smaller one around them too, so I do that at her request. So I guess it's all a matter of how you introduce them to the party. Sorry if TMI.

A little added constriction might be very helpful, at least temporarily. The option is too cheap to not try it.

FMLFML85--Can we assume that you've tried 12-14-16-18 units as well? Surely there's a sweet spot between a few minutes and 6 hours

Hi Step, maybe you have to check your HRT-protocol again. Do you have an aromatase-inhibitor to block the conversion of T into E? Too much E can also give ED problems.

Did/are you using medicines like propecia, Ro-accutane or a SSRI or other medicine which can give also problems with the Androgen-receptor?

Stay strong Bro.

Smphead,

I've been all over the map on HRT, I've been with Defy for the past 5 months on a pretty decent protocol. I've never really converted a lot of my T to E2 thankfully although I have tried .125mg of Arimidex for a short period with no change. HRT has made everything worse, minus my body composition. I just kind of stopped taking my shots over a week ago, but have taken HCG a few times. Really thinking about giving it a break for a while. Thousands of dollars spent on meds, bloods and syringes and I feel like shit.
