Questions about results

I did my first solo injection. I decided to try it at home alone to see what the results were before the first time with my lady. The injection went smooth. I started getting firm within five to ten minutes. The bad part was that my length was not what it had been. My understanding is that after a prostatectomy the penis may be shortened because part of the urethra was removed and reattached. My surgery was three years ago. Could the size situation be partly caused by the fact that Mr. Happy has not stood at attention for three years? I had done some, but not a lot of exercising with a VED. I also wonder if the location of the injection has anything to do with the results? I did do the stick near the base as instructed. When I was shown what to do at the doctor's office my dosage was 20 units. I was told to do 25 at home. I was firm for over two hours. Would a higher dose do anything for the length? I was what I considered average, 6.5" My results yesterday did not measure up to that. I suppose I should ask the doctor as well.

ED will cause you to loose size. Especially when you don’t have any nocturnal erections. Like any other muscle you loose if you don’t use. Implant could regain some length and definitely girth. That’s what I had done.

I used injections for 12+ years. As long as you got hard, the length is what it is, the amount you inject will have no effect on length as long as it is hard. The fact that you were hard or very firm for two hours, which is how long it lasted for me, tells me you hit the right spot and injected the right amount. Just my observation.

You might be able to eek a little more length (and def more girth) if you add on a restriction ring of some sort. But that depends on if your current erection is already 100% or is somewhat less... If somewhat less, then restriction will boost it a bit -- plus add definition due to better EQ.

I just use inexpensive 8" velcro cable wraps (not [plastic cable ties!) which you can get at Lowes or HomeDepot for $3 for a pack or 5. Just brag to the check gal that you have a big cable that needs tieing up.

These are good because they are adjustable and even a 1/8-1/4" cinching/loosening can make a difference and be more comfortable or more hard as you can stand it.

Getting hard with injections and using the VED MAY help you get some of the length you lost due to ED.

Yeah, I'd resume using the VED on days you aren't doing injections. You will generally lose some length both from the RP surgery and lack of use.

I believe some guys do. But I know I can't. If I do I'll usually get some minor external bleeding at the injection site and I will for sure get a small hematoma at the injection site.

I recently used my VED after my injection was not very effective. I pumped up about 15 minutes after injecting and got some slight bleeding at the injection site, but not enough to be of concern. I also take daily 81 aspirin and Plavix.

I got a fairly large hematoma right on my glans... I sent my doctor a picture of it (he is 7 hours away) and he said it was just a hematoma and it was caused by either a little too much pressure or leaving it on too long. He told me to just pump it until it's uncomfortable (for my VED that is 5 pumps) and leave it on for 5 minutes. As for bleeding, there are a couple of areas on the body that are very vascular... anything above the shoulders (ever cut yourself shaving)? and the genitals. I had all of my shaft skin replaced in 2013 and to this day if I leave my VED on a little too long, it bleeds where the glans meets the shaft... the skin there is a little too thin. It's too thin because of a powerful steroid cream that I was using to fight BXO.
