General Practitioner vs Uro

Postby alfa88 » Thu Sep 06, 2018 6:40 pm

So I've been to a Uro and got and filled a prescription for Edex(alprostadil) but find the results and side effects unsatisfactory. I've got a checkup with my GP coming up and wondering if GPs can prescribe Trimix. Anyone have experience with this situation? ;)

Yeah he/she can if they want. I've had good luck training my GPs and getting them to help me out. I haven't asked for tri-mix specifically but I'm confident he would. Most are very skittish with anything opioid related but I can't blame them, which is OK as I don't like opioids. You very well may have to explain the meds and reason for them as not all know much about them and some probably have never heard of tri-mix.

Frank Talk is the greatest. Thanks guys.
Some postings make it sound like Trimix contains Alpostadil but I don't see that name in any of the formulas. I'm confused.
I'm inclined to request a script for a high octane 30mg/2mg/40mcg mix but not if one of those ingredients is Alprostadil. Is Prostaglandin the same thing as Alprostadil? At 20mcg Alprostadil leaves me with the feel of a raging hardon but only a useless softee and the 'burn' lasts for hours.
Being as I may be enlightening my GP about penile injections I want to be armed with info. :D
