Dunno for sure but here's my thought. Many report "atrophy" after layoff or infrequency when pills become less effective. The "use it or lose it" tenet. This happened to me. Once you start using it again, it seems it gets more sensitive and responsive to stimulus. More apt to come to attention when beckoned. More spontaneous morning wood and PHO's. Quicker and bigger and better response when called to duty. Sure, it's not a 20 year-old cat can't scratch it hair trigger dick, but better than no use. Perhaps PGE or one of the other components alters the cavernosa? Improved vascularity/valving? Again, no physiologist or doctor, and dunno why, just observations and theories.

And then part may be mental in that your brain says you can now tap that pie whenever you want - you are now armed and dangerous!! As for the glans/head, mine has always gotten very big both "virgin", with pills and now with injections. I have noted a modest increase with modest pumping too. Measures almost 2" across with shaft at 1 5/8" when at attention after injection. Wifey likes that big head and slight up=curve rubbing the G-spot. We're all different.

For me...Taking Viagra on an empty stomach makes a HUGE difference(literally). Viagra is definitely not as effective if taken after eating a meal and a heavy/greasy meal is even worse. Can anyone else attest to this?

Yes, it's in the package literature and common advice. Empty stomach for sure. No big night out with dine and a screw.

A full stomach definitely reduces the effectiveness of Viagra. My urologist advised that injections force blood into tissue that has been “dormant” for a while which helps revive the tissue. I believe he was talking about after several injections; however, after just one injection in combination with Viagra may have a similar effect.

Viagra definitely works much better on an empty stomach..no doubt about it..( I have found)
I do a pumping routine like 10-12 minutes every other day ( except the day after I inject) which has helped the effectiveness of both pills and injections. Pumping brings fresh blood into the penile tissues, preventing atrophy and promoting healing from injections. Word of caution DO NOT PUMP AFTER YOU Just injected Trimix...the pumping will put a lot of pressure on the tissues and promote more bleeding..I wait 24-48hrs after I inject before I resume the pumping routine. This has helped me tremendously and also seems to have increased girth. The healthier the penile tissue the better Viagra or Trimix will work...just sayin'

FMLFML85 wrote:Viagra stopped consistently working about 6 months after starting it. I always assumed it was because I was becoming tolerant to it. I’m a very healthy 33 year old so I don’t believe that my non organic ed had gotten worse. Since I started injections I have noticed the frequency of viagra working going up. Before injections viagra would very rarely work, sometimes if I quit for a few weeks I would get 1 good day and if I tried viagra again with in a couple weeks it wouldn’t work. Over the past ten days I have used viagra 3 times and it worked very well, these were also on non inject days. So what I’m wondering is do injections some how help viagra on off days? Or can tolerance to viagra come and go? Has anyone else here experienced this?

I remember when I was working as a paramedic, some patients had a few kinds of medication prescribed so that if one started having less effect, they would switch to another and so on. If, after injecting for a while, the Cialis or Viagra starts to work again (and you have no other issues with those meds), I would go back for a while. I have always been taught to go with the least invasive move that works. Good luck. :)
