Bruisng

Postby alfa88 » Tue Aug 28, 2018 4:16 pm

I did a search on the forum 1st but didn't quite see my situation. I did my #3 injection of Edex, was careful not to hit a vein, picked a spot on the Right side, about a finger's width from the base. There was some plunger resistance so I withdrew ever so slightly and took about 15 secs to inject. With the Edex20 I''m still only getting an enlarged softy but it feels like a raging hardon and the sensation lasts for a few hours. If I'm on my feet there's more burn, laying down less burn and even more soft. The next day I noticed bruising on the Right. I moved the skin around and the skin wasn't bruised it was on my shaft. Is it possible I was too aggressive working the meds in? No bruising on the Left. I'm planning on switching to trimix but in the meantime I have several doses of (expensive)Edex to use up. :?

I don't know anything about Edex, but don't think it's necessary to inject too close to the base.
I know that's what the directions say but results vary especially for me.

There could be a vein you don't see?

there may be a chance you are allergic to the medicine. I didn,t use edenx but tri mix burnt once in. ALSO had bruising when resistance occured. Check with yur doctor. The burn ruins the moment.

There are several recent posts, even on page 1, where Edex/Caverject/PGE1 effects are thoroughly discussed. Some get a good burn/ache. FYI. Examine and determine target carefully, 9-10 o'clock, I prefer 1" up from base to 3/4's of the way up to the head, plus or minus a RCH, and when "fluffed" to give a better target (length and girth) and expose the veins better.

I also think a bit farther than a fingers width would be better. Try 2 finger width. I'm also thinking you missed the sweet spot and didn't go deep enough and/or drilled a vein.

Are you on any blood thinners? Aspirin even?..I'm on blood thinners and have to apply pressure to the injection site for a full 5 minutes to prevent bruising..Even 4 1/2 minutes is not enough, and I'll get some bruising..That's my experience anyway.

No blood thinners, not even a beer for weeks. I didn't apply any pressure. Mayne I should have but there was only a little spot of blood and the alc pad took care of that. I'm super wary of avoiding any obvious veins but maybe there was a vein inside the cavernosa I didn't see or like Disappointed mentioned I might just be allergic. The bruising is gone, now, so next time I'll try a spot on the other side further up. At least I'm over my needle aversion. :D
