Avoiding veins

I have a prominent vein that runs along the left side of my penis from base to nearly tip.

I'm a bit concerned about hitting it when injecting on the left side, but I don't want to inject on the right too much. I also have a slight curve to the right naturally, and don't want to end up with peyronies.

Any suggestions?

Due to mine having "too many veins" I inject closer to the glans about 1/2 in down from the glans. Veins there are not so prominent.

I alternate sides and move up and down the shaft as much as possible. It can be a bit difficult avoiding the veins. My best recommendation is to use very good light so you can see those little buggars and take your time picking the spot. I suspect plumping up a bit first would be helpful if that option is available to you. It isn't for me.

A trick that we used on the ambulance that SOMETIMES helps is to put a very bright flashlight on the side you are NOT injecting... Sometimes you can see the veins. Good luck. :)

Plumping up and being careful with good lighting are the keys to avoiding veins. I've been injecting 2-3 times a week for 4 years, 9 months and only once hit a nerve that I know of. and all that happened was a bruise that went away in a week or so on its own.....in total well over 500 injections. No scaring or bending either (partly good luck no doubt)

I've actually learned to look forward to injecting and to the erection that will result so the plumping happens pretty much spontaneously. Also suggest you try to relax for a couple of minutes when you are about to inject, to prevent any hand tremor, and wait several minutes before starting heavy sex, solo or with partner.

Good luck!

Darn I wish mine would plump before injecting. Robotic surgery but cancer in the margins. I think they took more nerves than they admitted to. There is no plumping period. There are even times when I feel aroused and horny and get that feeling in my loins like I'm getting an erection but when I check, nope, it's still as flaccid as it can be. At least the injections work well with few issues, my glans plumps up some during use and and I don't really get alprostadil pain unless I overdose.

Plumping is great when you can do it. I take 25mg generic Viagra and it does plump enough to give more room between the goddam veins.

Willy seems to even look forward to the injection when he used to try to hide.
Down side is I get a stuffy nose and have to mouth breathe.

I'm starting to hit the end of the road with my injections, but will do it as long as possible.

I found that bright lighting and using an auto-injector (Autoject EL) works the best.
And plumping up a little helps too. But I usually can't get any swelling before injecting. The Autoject EL makes injecting SO much easier and safer.

I hit several times veins when I was using auto-injector and had bruise for 5-6 days. Lately I started to do manual ejections and never hit vein
