So after a scare with priapism following my last injection my doctor prescribed me injectable phenylephrine to keep on hand just in case. Obviously I hope to never have to use this, but it's nice having it on hand as something to try before going to the ER.
Does anyone have experience with it, or can anyone comment on the shelf life? According to the pharmacy the shelf life is only 30 days, what I'm wondering is if it would be safe to freeze to increase the shelf life. This does seem to work with Trimix, but I'm not sure about the phenylephrine.
