Its a lump of something -- I get confused with the differences between scarring, fibrosis and plaque... Can someone help me out?
thanks

Oh man sorry to hear this. Were you injecting Trimix? And how often were you injecting? I don't know the differences as well so hopefully someone else can chime in.

From what i gather, it's mostly the added ingredients in the American bi/trimix formulas that cause the scarring, particularly papaverine. However, it's just what i've heard from doctors here and some feedback from the forum.
However, injections do stop working with time. I suppose that if you use "mix" versions of injections and up your dose often, the chances of getting scarring is also higher.

Just wondering, are there any long time Trimix injectors that have not had any scarring? Or is scarring a likely thing with Trimix?

Me.

I went on bimix at age 31 in 1987.

I used an injectable all the way until I implanted 12/31/2019. Almost 33 years.

It was bimix from 1987-95. Then prostaglandin e1 by itself 96-2000. I was taking viagra with the injections starting in 1998. Then back to trimix in 2001, along with oral meds.

I tried the quad mix briefly around 2017 and it didn’t do anything the trimix didn’t already do.

Even at the end injections gave me a great erection, they just didn’t last. I’m guessing the VL got to the point that the medication got flushed out of the corpora before it could really take hold and keep everything secure.

The second question I asked the urological surgeon after I woke up (the first was how much implant were you able to install) was how bad of a scar tissue mess did you run into after that many years of injecting.

His answer was “none to speak of.” He told me that I had no real scarring that he could tell and if any was present, it was so minor as not to have had any effect on implanting me.

No two guys are alike. I’ve had two rotator cuffs repaired, multiple hernias, a knee redone. You really cannot find the scars where they cut me open. Not sure that means anything.

But to answer your question. Yes, there are long term injection users who never experience any scarring trouble.

Wow that is great to hear. I hope I am one of those guys who do not get any scarring since I am/was kind of considering an implant. Still very early days for me though. Thanks for sharing this.

I started out with 30-2-10 Trimix and built up tolerance quickly to now being on quad mix with 300 PGE! And even that isn't as effective as the weakest mix once was.

The guys who are least likely to get scarring are using straight PGE, Dr Eid told me.
75, used pills, injections -- all lost effectiveness. Titan implanted by Eid in Feb '22.

Well, I got a trauma using the Trimix with the Autoinject, It took me two Trimix injections to developed a dent, but months later it became much worse. Two years after the trauma,I probably losted 50% girth, 20% lenght and my erections don't last. I'm been extremely unlucky, how in the world that happened to me?. I'm so depressed and angry at myself for getting injections when I didn't even need them, now I'm deformed and almost impotent. I wonder if I'm the only case in millions
I had a trauma 2 years ago, caused me narrowing, dent and shortening. PRP injections three months ago=worse narrowing, and worse ED. Now I only have two choices: impotent or implant. Born in 1975, in a relationship with girlfriend fir 4 years
