There is a cavernous artery running down the middle of each cavernosal chamber. I've never had an issue with it.

Curious: I don't know of any arteries in the corpora cavernosa. There must be capillaries, because some guys draw blood into the syringe to verify the needle's correct position, but I've never heard any medical people or Frank Talkers mentioning that there is a problem such as you picture.

Disappointed today. Jacked my dose up to 16 units and all I got was a flexible erection. Im sure I hit the right spot as it did stretch out and engorge but just not enough.
I'll go up by 5 more units next time.

Please be careful. You previously said 11 units was just about right. You bumped it 30 percent and and now you want to bump it another 5 units. More likely you had a partial miss. I'd try it again at 16 units. Risk vs reward! The risk is an unpleasant trip to the ER.

You're probably right. I should try 16 again. I don't know how I could have missed though. I'll just tell the wife not to get her hopes up.

Hey Curious, keep your chin up, you will get it sorted. Good idea to try 16 again and if it doesn't do the trick then up it 5. Once its sorted prepare to blow your wifes mind.

Tried 16 units again today. I got an erection but not hard enough for action.
Should I go up by another 5 units? 2? 3? My instructions say 2-5 unit increases. I feel like increasing by 5 units but I just don't know how potent this stuff is.

I can't imagine why 11 units would be almost enough and then 16 units is no better. You may well have a leak where the "right for you" cock ring would give you what you want. TRY USING A RING as outlined in the "Cock Ring" thread. Otherwise with the leak you may be in an endless chase. If you don't want to try rings and if there was no change between 11 units and 16 units go ahead and bump 5 units. But be sure your injection technique is spot on. I thought 11 was almost enough but perhaps that was just excitement. Remember, I'm a novice at this. Also, the 11 unit injection didn't last very long at all. Neither did todays 16 unit injection.
I really don't want to try a ring yet. I will if all else fails but I need to see it this med will work. I called the pharmacy and they said they typically see doses ranging from 20-30 units. So Im not at that level yet. Another 5 units will put me at 21.

As far as injections, I'm using a 5/16 inch needle and I press the hub into the skin so there is a dimple before pressing the plunger. Also, I have to skip the 3 and 9 o'clock spots due to having prominent veins at those locations. So a little past 3 or 9 o'clock. Or above 3 and 9 o'clock. My girth seems small compared to the measurements I've read on here so I just can't imagine trying a 1/2" needle. How deep does the corpora cavernosa lie beneath the skin? Surely, pressing the 5/16 needle in and causing a dimple is deep enough?

I do have phenylephrine injectable on hand. Also some Sudafed. I surely wouldn't want to have to inject 50 units of that every 5 minutes.
