Saw the uro today, and he increased my Trimix strength to 20/30/2. Hopefully, I'll get good results with a smaller injection. Can't wait to find out,

SteveSW,

You said your Trimix formula is 20/30/2. It means 20mcg Prostaglandin / 30mg Papaverine / 2mg/mL Phentolamine? It is correct?

Last fall I received a set of Trimix mix for first time with the same formula as above. Is this formula a standard strength? I have tried it many times from 20 units to 50 units. My hardest erection was always lasted less than a half hour. I was hoping my erection would be lasted for one hour or longer.

Before I will call pharmacists for a 2nd refill. Can I ask them for stronger strength without seeing my uro first?

Thanks!

My experience is that the pharmacy wants a new prescription every time the proportion of the three drugs changes. I have had this experience with two pharmacies so far.

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experiences, at best and hallucinations or delusions at worst. Internet forum advice is often worth what you paid for it. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I believe your script would be considered a medium strength formula. You might want to ask your doctor for a stronger script. You very likely have some degree of venous leak, but perhaps not. I'm not a doctor, I'm just speculating. You also might consider trying adding a cock ring to the mix. they help me, with hardness and duration. But you'll have to experiment to find the right one(s) for you. Expect to throw some away.

You will need a new script for a change in formula. In many if not most cases you won't have to see the doctor for that. You call his/her office and talk to or leave a message with the doctor or nurse or NP or PA or whatever. They call it in to your pharmacy after they get the message. That's how it often works unless the doctor is a little tight on his Mercedes or Hatteras payment.

Good luck.

I had to see the Dr to change my script. He is good about working you in same day or next, for a 5 min. discussion. I called on Tuesday afternoon and saw him Wednesday morning at 7:30am. Now waiting for the out of state pharmacy he uses to call and collect $ and ship. I'm sure Dr gets a kickback from pharmacy, but it was really seamless last time, and it's cheaper than the local pharmacy.

You are 65, why are you waiting to get an implant.Scaring and pyronies makes it harder to install an implant. I had scaring and when minor pyronies started the implant doc said stop injections immediately.

Oldbeek, Thanks for pointing out the reading material. As to why I am waiting on the implant? Money, insurance BS, travel/access to a good surgeon.
