When you purchase through mail order the pharmacy packs the trimix in dry ice and sends it overnight by FedEx or UPS. I have been ordering this way for more than two years and have never had a problem.

Nothing wrong with the major mail order pharmacies. I pick mine up in person but they mail it too. They hand it to me with an ice pack. I expect they use the dry ice for mailers.

Another satisfied Talon customer here.

FYI, they cold-ship it overnight with a chemical ice pack. In my experience, they never ship across a weekend, which might mean that the package would get hung up someplace. My prescriptions have always arrived well-chilled and within a one-day window.

If you think about it, all kinds of pharmaceuticals — insulin comes to mind — are shipped this way.

Mine from University compounding in San Diego came next day ups on ice in a small styrofoam cooler, 4x6 inch.

I've requested quotes from just about every compound pharmacy suggested on here and a few others. Talon was by far the least expensive. Unfortunately, they do not ship to my state (Mich.). So, for now, I am sticking with the local compounder. At least there is one within easy driving for me.
