Question;; You have been doing it a long time. Where do you buy syringes and needles? Compounding pharmacy? or on line? 10 pack was 9.41 from Compound lab. + shipping.

You should be able to get insulin needles at any pharmacy.

oldbeek,

I've been getting my syringes and alcohol prep pads online from Total Diabetes Supply: https://www.totaldiabetessupply.com/

I don't know if they are the best. They are reliable enough and cheap enough that I haven't looked any further.

My compounding pharmacy, Coastal Compounding Pharmacy ( http://www.coastalcompoundingpharmacy.com/ ) also throws in 2 or 3 ten packs of syringes, of your choice of size (sort of), with the mix order but they only ship to FL. I prefer the 31g 5/16 syringe that I get online that only holds .3ml as the plunger is real easy to push and they have more lines for finer, more precise measurements. However, with the amounts you're injecting I don't think you can use the .3ml.

I've been happy with the cheaper brands of syringes like Easy Touch or Sure Comfort. I don't recall the price off hand but they're cheap. I haven't had the same luck with the prep pads. BD is the brand for those but I have a bunch of Curity brand to use up.

Edit to add: These are the ones I'm using and like: https://www.totaldiabetessupply.com/col ... -5-16-inch

That's certainly cheaper than what you've been paying. I also use up the Sure Comfort .5ml, 5/16, 31G syringes the pharmacy gives me with my mix order.
