In my mind I am sure that shots are the way I need to go.
I am just chicken to make that call to urology. How were you guys able to get past this?
What is Edex vs. Tri Mix and what are costs?
Thank you.

Injections did not work for me. I would either get no erection or a painful one.
Be careful if you do injections. It caused my peyrone,s disease.

Re: I need a pep talk
I tried trimix and quadmix for several months before giving up and scheduling an implant. But it's a very individual experience. You will find guys here on FT that have used shots for years very successfully. For me, after ramping up to 50 units of trimix, which didn't work that well, I went to quadmix. I finally increased the dose until I got an erection that kinda was enough, but the biggest issue was a sore glans. My glans would hurt like I had been pounding away for hours. Plus, the effect would wear off in about 30 minutes. So I had a short time erection and a dick that hurt. So, it's a mixed bag. Works for some, not for others including me. There are some potential long term side effects of the shots, so that's another consideration.
As to being chicken to call a urologist, suck it up and make the call. In the end it's all about getting it up and having a good sex life! I didn't find it easy to stick a needle in my dick, but I was more than willing to give it a try. In the end, an implant was my ultimate answer. But, it's whatever works for each individual that's important.
Best of luck to you going forward.

I first tried Edex, my insurance covered it, problem was in was painful.
My uro put me on trimix, no pain, worked great, got me hard in 10 mins, stayed hard for a good 2 hours even after cumming.
I found a pharmacy got a months supply was around $50.

Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.

Re: I need a pep talk
Forgot to add, talk to your urologist about, he has seen this before, you are not the first guy with this problem.
He should administer the first shot for you, don't be embarrassed about getting hard in the office.
I would never have been able to give myself the first shot if he didn't do it first. The only pain was the prick when the needle broke the skin, very little pain. I was amazed the first time. Once you get used to it, you'll love it
Good Luck
