If Alprostadil “ache’ is a problem for you (as it is for many others), ask your Urologist if you can try Invicorp.
It takes the pain out of the equation.
I did, I have had Invicorp but it costs way too much for me and wont give it to me on the NHS.
The NHS urologist hadnt even heard of it.
That’s surprising.
It’s very commonly prescribed now- approved by most regional health authorities.
Have you checked the formulary for your area?
From Invicorp back to Alprostadil.

Just my useless Urologist/GP it seems. I wish I could find someone else who could get it for me on prescription!

The recommendation has to come from the Urologist to the GP.
The GP can’t issue a prescription without this..

Yup, but the NHS Urologist hadnt even heard of it... he googled it and then instead of calling it Invicorp continuously called it 'Papaverine' because he saw that was one of the ingredients. He then phoned the NHS stockist they use in Esex and they hadnt heard of it either although I had to take the phone because he kept referring to it as Papaverine which isnt the name.
It was very frustrating and makes me wonder how these people get in such high positioned jobs.
So much for 'Trust your medical 'professional'.
