So, long story, but I finally got around to trying a bottle of Trimix 105 I've had frozen since getting it in May of 2022.
Basically I'm posting this to let people know that the mix can still be effective if kept frozen, even this far past the expiration date. Granted, playing with dosing may be required. I took ~8 units, or .08cc or ml and was hard for 4 hours 25 minutes. My normal dose on a fresh bottle is .03cc (3 units) of Trimix "Medium"....and that lasts 2.5 hours.
Just trying to give a frame of reference that is admittedly extremely anecdotal.

Good to know. I religiously keep mine frozen except to fill a dozen needles then immediately re-freeze. Going on 16 months and I don't detect any loss of potency - hoping I make your 4 years. I also have several 1ml bottles that I have never opened and have kept frozen for many months until needed.

I'm just starting injecting. When I picked up my first Rx I asked about freezing. The pharmacist told me I could refreeze and it shouldn't affect the product that much. He recommended refreezing if I was going to not use it for a while.

My concern with injecting 4 year old medication would be infection. Refrigerating/freezing slows bacterial growth, it doesn’t stop it. The risk is very low of course, but I would rather just buy a new vial than use such an old one.

When I used Trimix and Quadmix, I kept the spare doses in the deep freezer. At the bottom of the freezer. The temp at the bottom is -20 to -25 f. Refrigerator freezers on the other hand rarely achieve temps below 10 or 15 degrees above zero. And with each opening of the reefer freezer door, the temp goes up as warm air rushes in. There is a big difference between storage at 10 or 15 and -20. Over time, any frozen compound will change, but the lower the temp, the slower the change.
I only bought enough of the vials to last for 3 months at most at any one time. This way, I knew I had fresh and likely the strongest available dose each time. I would agree that the "use by" dates are in general, over cautious. But for me, there's no way I would have injected a 4 year old drug into my dick.
