My biggest frustration is that the first doc I went with to get Trimix, did not know that alprostadil cannot be tolerated by roughly 20% of men. This led to months of experimentation, never being able to find a dose of Trimix that worked well, having painful erections and priapisms (3 trips to the ER). I finally went to another doc who immediately knew that I needed to get on a special Trimix recipe with very low alprostadil, or Bimix. I am now on Bimix. I imagine a custom Trimix recipe with very low alprostadil would be costly, so I am committed to making Bimix work.

I don't know if my response to Trimix had anything to do with my medical condition. I am on aggressive ADT for metastatic prostate cancer, so there is virtually no testosterone in my body until I finish 2 years on ADT.

Been using Trimix for 2 years after 44 IMRT and 16 months of Lupron. Wondering if any of my colleagues have any suggestions about the timing of the Trimix shot, foreplay and actual penetration? How long after the shot are you usually ready for penetration? How do you work foreplay into your program?

Ready to go in 3-5 minutes. We usually use just a little foreplay, enough to get my guy puffed up for better injection technique. Foreplay is much better for me if I'm hard so I don't want to miss out on the maximum enjoyment.

Can anyone tell me what cock ring is best to use with injections. I find that the injections works well, but I need to have a firm ring to hold the firmness once achieved by the injection. Erections is initially strong and pelvic floor muscles work to engorge but could use some assistance in retention of blood in the penis. Behind the scrotum and over the top of penis adjacent to the abdominal wall is best for me. There is a lot of hype out there on the net and I don't know what to believe. Plus the prices can be exorbitant. I don't mind paying for something that is really going to work. Thanks in advance.
