Having some success with injections

So at this point we have only used Trimix twice since the priapism (and only once before that), but I feel like I am getting the hang of it and I’m pretty happy with the results.
Thanks to whoever suggested injecting after getting “plumped” - it definitely makes it easier! I also had good success with laying out a needle by my bed stand the night before and using it early in the morning.
35 units gave me the priapism so I know that’s too high. I started with 15 units (injected while fairly hard) and it worked well, although I got soft right after orgasm. Last time I used 20 units and the same thing happened but I also got spontaneously hard maybe half an hour later while we were still in bed together, figured “what the heck?”, and we had sex again. Unexpected and fun!
I’m noticing that with injection I don’t have to spend as much mental energy on maintaining intense fantasies in my mind in order to stay hard. And with success coming from the needle, I’m worrying far less about sex than I have in months. I’m starting to actually look forward to sex with my wife rather than dread it like a high stakes test. All of that is good.
Have not gotten adventurous enough to try shifting positions much - although part of that is my wife’s own body, as she’s prone to leg cramps. Soon, I think. I think I’m going to stick with Trimix for a while and see if it calms my anxiety, although TBH I am liking the freedom of just being able to enjoy the moment rather than focus on fantasies to keep myself going. Maybe this will be my next decade, before finally getting the implant. I can imagine worse fates.

Thanks! It looks like 20-25 units is my sweet spot so long as I inject properly. If only this stuff didn’t need to be kept refrigerated, it’d be much more convenient - at some point I might just put my foot down and put a mini fridge in the bedroom. As it stands I either have to prep the night before or creep around the cold house filling a needle in the basement like a junkie in the morning hoping not to run into my in-laws or one of the kids. Bleah.

Let me share my routine....it may be helpful to someone... Most nights by 7:00 I know whether there's a pretty high chance of my wife and I to have sex. Those nights I take a already prefilled syringe out of my refrigerator and put it in a drawer and in a downstairs bathroom so it will be ready and warmed up say about 9:00. If my wife and I agree we are going to have sex say at around 9:00 she goes upstairs I stay downstairs a few minutes to do the injection. 5 to 10 minutes later I go upstairs with an erection on the way and get in bed with my wife. This routine has worked perfectly for the both of us.This has been a simple and low stress way of using Trimix for me.
BTW..... If for some reason we don't have sex that night I just put this syringe back in the refrigerator and use it again the next night... It will be fine

Thanks! Yeah, I am realizing I can prefill syringes and store them, maybe in an eyeglass case or something. We almost always have sex in the morning (not my ideal time but she falls asleep very early, before the kids do).
I’ve had decent luck with leaving a prepped needle out all night and using it in the morning.
Between my wife needing to apply lubricant and my needing to get at least a bit plumped to make injections easier and more accurate, we’re still working on the logistics of our routine. We seem to be falling into foreplay where I end up giving her an orgasm with my fingers, followed by her taking me into her mouth for a bit and then a break for lube application and injection. The Trimix works pretty fast for me and I usually have a solid erection in a couple of minutes if not sooner.
I *can* have sex without it, for sure, but it makes sex so much easier and less stressful.
